so there are ghosts acting like my granpa?

Demonic spirits do try to mimick the deceased and decieve some into believing it is someone from the past that they are in contact with.

Deu 18:10 "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

Deu 18:11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

Deu 18:12 "For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you.

Yes eternal, the seer who brought up Samuel for Saul was one who "calls up the dead".

so there are ghosts?

Yes ... but they are not dead humans ... they are devils parading as people.

Do you have any haunting your house?

to answer your question the mention of ghosts was made yes but under different circumstances than what you mean

Called GIVING UP THE GHOST (Genesis 25:8;35:29; Lamentations 1:19; Acts 5:10)

The disciples, supposing they saw a ghost when Jesus came walking upon the lake (Matthew 14:26; Mark 6:49,50)

read the scriptures above.

Ghosts are demonic as there should be no communication with the dead 'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. " 'Do not practice divination or sorcery" 19:26

- If you mean evil spirits or agents of the devil yes there is mention in the bible of the casting out of demons for example " Jesus Sends Out the Twelve ] He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" Mat 10:1 so we have power over these evil spirits and should never be afraid of them.

Um "Ghost" is a term usually applied to spirits haunting from the dead... but scripture is against this. There HAVE been spirits brought up from the grave by a seer, or witch (Like Saul bringing up Samuel).

But no, no ghosts.

Shalom

So you dont believe in the holy ghost? (thats how its refered to in the Bible.) :)

Lol I think you're kidding right?

Well that's in the King James Version. In modern versions it's rendered correctly as "Holy Spirit". There's no "ghost" in the original languages... so it's just an Englishman trying to translate something in commonly idendifiable terms.

Shalom
