Matthew 26, is where it tells us that God alone is our Father...

also, that was one of the questions i asked before, and never received an answer, and that is

what does it take to be classified as a saint?  how many miricles and of what types?

another question that has yet to be answered, is which sin is worse then another???

Oh forgot to mention something, for those that have mentioned they would like to see me back in the catholic church..... ready?  ok, here it is......... I Am Divorced....

OH NO!!!.... not annulled but divorced......  wow, that is rough.... now i can not be a pastor in just about every denomination there is... or even a deacon, or elder, wow,

cause i divorced........

that is in the past, and i am accepted into the Holy Family of Jesus, I have been adopted in as Royalty...... wow, can that be for real? YES !!!!!

for some one to be shut out of a church for a single peticular sin, to keep people from being pastors because of a single sin, or a single type of sin, then i guess there is no one that can ever be a pastor.... nobody is righteous in their own, but only thru the Grace of God, and His Mercy are we made righteous.

well, i can see this is not going anywhere fast again....

mike

If you are divorced and you LOVE Jesus then you WON'T act against His will and commit adultery with another woman (Mark 10: 10-12).

However, if you want to "give in" to the life of promiscuity given by Hollywood then join the Anglican Church and start enjoying the "sexyness of christianity" :t2:.

When I heard of the now-extinct protestant VS catholic board I thought it was a terrible idea, but it's true this is the golden age for such debates.

We live in an era when the Anglican Church (second protestant church) fell in irreversible apostasy with women ordained as priests and now "openly gay & lesbian priests and bishops".

The Lutheran Church is losing members faster than you can say "Luther's herecy".

The tendency of "christians with no denomination" is widespread.

The rapture is upon us and self-evident truths about Christ and the Church contrast every day more with the society ruled by unchallenged sin.

This is indeed a great opportunity to convert as many souls as possible.

P.S. Angelidei your wisdom is needed in the following link to fight 2 stubborn lefevbrists (Sick of it & JSiri):

Bill,

I did come hear with a mission. What is wrong with that? If you don't have a mission your just a wandering fool.

Maybe you could take some of that zeal to defend Roman Catholicism to the Christian community and put it to good use...for like, gee, I dunno, preaching to lost souls about Christ's ability to save them.

I more enjoy preaching to heritics and schismatics it has been much more productive. Ya know some people just have a calling. BTW who are you to say that I don't preach to lost souls?

Godslove26 Has it occured to you that Christ's sacrifice was eternal. God is not bound by time like you.

I was backreading and have to ask.................has it occured to the Catholics that Jesus is not forever bound to a cross.........He is risen!

It didn't seem to me like Nicholas was calling Bill a fool. He was just saying that we should live out our faith in our daily routine by seeking out those who are against us. Why? If you preach to those who know only what they have been taught by the heretics you can save a lost soul. If you save the soul of a heretic you can help those who will never have to listen to him and maybe those who have been corrupted by him if he decides to try to win them back, again, so to speak, but to a different cause, again.(lol)

Yes, we know he is risen, but you did not listen to me. His sacrifice is eternal therefore we can look apon the crucifix and remember his eternal sacrifice for us, the pain and agony for sins that are rightfully ours. Sins that we should be crucified for, not him. My question is why do protestants wear and have crosses in there houses. A cross without Christ has no bearing at all, and is meaningless. It takes the reality of what the cross was away, and turns it into a decorating device, not a torture instrument like it was. Now it is almost stylish to wear crosses. How many people even give a second thought about what is means to Christians, and when you take Christ off of the cross, it just make it easier for people to desecrate its sacredness to Christians. Now they are just cool wearing a cool new cross!

HAS THAT EVER OCCURED TO YOU!!!!!

Our crosses celebrate that Jesus is no longer on the cross..........resurrection. If Jesus were still on the cross we would have no redemption. It is in His ressurection that we celebrate our own salvation. And that is why we have a cross not a crucifix.

In the tacitly defined sense of the word used here; heretic: one who professes and teaches things considered to be contrary to accepted religious doctrine(of course that is subjective). The difference implied here was the level of knowledge possessed by each party. Preaching to a 'lost soul' would be someone who just didn't know anything, was pretty much just lost. Preaching to a heretic would be someone who had found a place to stand and attack another and try to win support. Think about it like gambling one might be easier but pays off less the other may not be as sure a bet but the reward would be greater.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
