An Israeli company has discovered a small amount of oil at a drilling site near the Dead Sea, raising

hopes that the Jewish state could one day join its regional neighbors as a petroleum producer.

Initial tests have found that the site would yield between 100 to 150 barrels daily, said Eli Tannenbaum, geologist for the Ginko oil exploration company. While this is minuscule by global standards - No. 1 producer Saudi Arabia produces 9 million barrels a day - Tannenbaum said there are signs that larger amounts of crude are nearby. (AP)

I feel a Prophetic Utterance coming on. Yes, it is definately a Prophetic Utterance.

I see in the near future another larger deposit being found. I also see the Palestinians (IE; Hamas and Hezzballah) as well as most of the Arab world declaring that not only has Israel stolen their land. They are now in a Zionist ploy along with America (Their lapdogs). They are subverting the wealth of the Muslim by digging diagonally under the oil rich fields of their homelands. Even more they have no right to this land therefore they have no right to this OIL.

Yeah, the Arab world will use this to slam Israel. They will declare the oil to be the property of the Palestinians, and the Arab/Muslim world in General.

You can count on it. I am sure some Palestinian sympathizers will be on the boards soon to join the Arabs in their canard as well.

Hey Dave---wasn't there a sort-of prophetic utterance in the Scriptures regarding the tribe of Asher and oil??? Seems to me at the end of Jacob's life he made a reference to Asher's toe or foot dipped in oil....

I need to look this up!!!! It's somewhere at the end of Genesis...
