You remind me of a teaching series by Jimmy Swaggart I used to have. Brother Swaggart also believed that the Anti-Christ would not control the whole world. I would be interested in a debate on this topic as I may have to side with John on this. I'm not overly knowledgable on this aspect of prophecy as I don't feel we'll be here for his rule-we're not appointed unto wrath and why would there be a post-trib rapture? What's the sense of being "raptured" just to come immediately back?

I am no prophecy scholar, but I have searched the word to find the truth in this matter of the end times. And I have examined the many differing views and interpretations on prophecy, with an open mind for finding the truth. It seems to me that there are so many ways to see how the end goes, like the timing of the rapture, and who and what the antichrist and beast are, when this and that happens, and if there will be a one world leader. I just want to know the truth because it say's at the beginning of Revelation,:

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

I just see, in the word, where the only 'one world ruler' will be Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, and to be ready and watching and redeeming the time. So until I know for sure, for sure, what it all means, I am going to eagerly await the one with all the knowledge on this subject: Christ Jesus.

Post-trib makes absolutely no sense to me. I mean, the Tribulation is over at Christ's return.

There really wouldn't even BE a rapture!!

He comes back, locks up satan and his prophet.....then the Kingdom starts. No time for a rapture.....

Thank you! I don't want this thread to turn into a free for all discussing pre, mid, or post-trib rapture! However, when it comes to pre-trib I'm like the old hymn-"I Shall Not Be Moved."

Okay it's a deal. If we wind up in the tribulation at the Worthy hideout that Dr. Luke and Dad Ernie are probably putting together, I'll tell you and Gary you were both right. If I'm right, however, I owe you a big "I told you so!!!!" Oh well, it might be sorta fun to be holed up with Gary in a hideout somewhere!!!! Better give River directions to the hideout since he's the new Pope!
