The Professional

Hi,

In the profession as a plumber, i see all sorts of things..... every time i think " I have seen it all now " something else comes up that changes my outlook......

One thing that makes my job so interesting, and with plenty of variety is that there are alot of " Do it yourselfers " out in this world.

I am one of them......

not too long ago, there was a customer in a shop, when he walked in there was a technician on the phone, it sounded to the customer like the technician was giving step by step instructions to a customer on the other end of the line.....

after the technician hung up, the customer standing there said, Gee, that was really nice to help that person out.....

but, dont you think that your boss might be upset at helping them out?, loosing a potential job?

the technician said, yea, it is kind of nice, and besides that, it is the standing instructions from the boss.

Oh? said the customer... why would he want you to do that?

well, said the tech, it is like this, all these do it yourselfers out there, asking for assistance, actually ends up with us having even more buisness...... they start the job, foul it up, then call us to come and bail them out...........

I am a " do it my self " kind of person..... and you know... i have fouled things up so many times, that i could use my fingers and my toes many many times and still not count all the times.

every time I foul something up, I end up calling on the Professional to bail me out...... It does not matter what I mess up, the Professional is always there to take care of the problem.... I have messed up as a child, I called in the Professional, and the mess was totally cleaned up..... I messed up as an adolecent, and yes, the Professional was there.....

I turned my life upside down with booze, and again, the Professional was there to turn things right side up and right side out....

when I got in trouble with anything, I was bailed out..... no matter what i did, or didnt do, the Professional was always there, waiting on my call, and would respond by bailing me out.... there were times, that MY TIMING, was not HIS TIMING.....

No Matter how many times we try to do things our selves... and we mess things up... and cause even more work for the Lord to clean up the mess we make with our lives, Jesus still washes us clean, snow white clean, whiter then snow clean. All we have to do is ASK ...... ASK and REPENT..... we can not do Pentance, for Pentance is not what it takes to get your self clean, for it is written that we can not work our way into heaven, we can not pray a loved one into heaven..... there is only one way.....ONE WAY, and that is THROUGH THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE SON OF GOD. We can only get to Heaven thru the GRACE OF GOD, By Accepting Jesus As Our True Lord And Savior. Only Thru Jesus, will any one see and LIVE with God, our Father.

This Holiday season, do not forget the true reason for the season...... Celebrate ....... have a Birthday Party, invite friends, and aquantences..... have them bring a present ( non-perishible food items or cloths for those that are truely in need ) have a cake and icecream, sing praises to Jesus, play games ( Bible Trivia is a good one , maybe change Guestures or another game to use the Word of God ) Party favors could be things picked up at a Bible outlet, book marks, Bible tabs, Bible covers.....
