Without making distinction (as the Bible does) within the Godhead we might as well start peddling the false teaching that the Father is going to become one with his children, the church too! God is our Father not our Bridgroom.

What's nonsense is saying that the God the Father, Son and HS are each a kephale of God's children. What's worse IMO is to say that Christ and the Church have already become one.

If it were true then where are all the glorified ressurected bodies of the saints?

Then you are not part of the body of Christ right now if you have not been joined with Him and reconciled neither can you be as one can only become a member of Christ body by the blood of Christ else you are none of His. As again one can only be a member of Christ's body by being buried with him in baptism and reserrected to newness of life as Romans 6 teaches.

you are so predictable as I knew you would go that way. I just wonder why one would submit to Christ as the Head of the church if they were not married yet? why would one live as though they were and serve and submit to the word of God in this life as a wife and bride would do to her husband in this life? Of course I know you will agrue this whole point. So I will leave this thread at this point as your thoughts and ideas are so jumbled up within this thread at this point it really has become utter non-sense.

Why does the church submit to it's kephale when in fact the two haven't become one yet because the two are not even married yet? Go figure.

The fact is, God divorced His wife (O.T.) and has not remarried to her yet.

Jeremiah 3:8 "I knew that the kingdom of Israel had been unfaithful and committed many sins, yet I still hoped she might come back to me. But she didn't, so I divorced her and sent her away"

If you had the biblical understanding of kephale then you would be able to answer your own question. Why else would a bride who isn't married yet submit? Go figure.
