Galatians 5:19-26...

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

These fruits or the lack thereof are visible.

Yes they or the lack there of are visible but the passage you supplied says nothing about judging one's salvation.

It stands to reason: No fruit: No salvation.

I dont think you will go back and read what I posted earlier.

You know, if someone was to look for good works in me, I doubt they could find much.

I do most of it secretly that noone but God sees.

I give anonymously.

I make quilts for cancer patients and mail them without return address.

I give blood and am a bone marrow donor.

Noone knows the good deeds I do.

So if you were to judge me by what you see, I would be unsaved in your eyes.

Thanks! I was looking for the post to which you referred! Honey, we would be looking for fruit. The fruit in your life seems to be the love and the joy and the goodness of God which would be evident. It spills out of you in acts of kindness. If we see no acts, we would see the love. You couldn't help it!

I dont want rewards from man, it cheats me out of my heavenly rewards.

Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession --to the praise of his glory.

Ok. Can you explain what this means?

Those who believed are marked in Christ with a seal, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guarantees our inheritance/resurecction until the redemption of those whom He has set his seal of ownership on.

That seems to be reading alot into the verses.

btw....what version of the Bible are you using? The wording in different from the KJV, RSV and 2 other translations that I looked at.
