Faith Healing

Tatie...I don't believe you have to "send money" and support ritzy televangelists to be healed.

All you have to do is ....pray and trust God. Simple.

I found something interesting about the "gift of healing" y'all:

The Scripture never says "gift of healing." It uses the form "gifts of healing" as in:

1 COR 12:6-11, "And there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.... to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills."

Healing is a gift received by the sick - not something possessed by the one praying. Each healing is another gift. Notice too that it says gifts not rewards. Healing is not a reward to be earned, it is a gift from God to be thankfully received.

Did you know this? I now can say I received a gift of healing.

I think it says in Corinthians (I)? That there are many gifts but one Spirit and God gives the gifts as He wills. I do believe that some are given the gift of healing. Some churches just don't have the revelation on it while others do.

Proverbs 4:20: My son, pay attention to what I say, listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health (or medicine) to a mans' whole body. Hosea 4:6 states: my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

(Hebrews 11:1) Without faith it is impossible to please God

Laying on of hands and in Jesus name speak healing (Mark 16:15 )

‑ Speaking the word of life and regeneration (Luke 7:2)

Anoint with oil and pray in faith (James 5:14 )

‑ The manifestation of the gifts of healings or of miracles as one of the nine manifestations of the Spirit (I Corinth. 12)

‑ Anointing cloth and placing it on the sick. (Acts 19:11 )

3. Remove any hindrances to Gods power such as:

‑ Lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

‑ Lack of forgiveness (Mark 11:25 )

‑ Lack of faith (Matt. 13:58 )

‑ Fear (II Tim. 1:7)

‑ Sin (I John 1:7‑10)

‑ Occult practices (Lev 20:6‑27)

‑ Lack of Agape love (I Corinth 13, Gal 5:6)

Exodus

15:26 There the Lord made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."

When Moses led the thousands of his people out of Egypt, Psalm 105:37 states and from among their tribes no one faltered . . there was no sickness among them.

23:25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
