I've heard it said; " That almost everyone here on worthy boards is in ministry of some type", I was wondering if those who read this, would post on here what they do for Christ.

Myself, I'm a street evanglist, I go where ever the spirit leads me to witness to others. People on the street, anywhere, anybody. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually studying the scriptures.

I think the quote was about the admins here, I know that I currently don't do a whole lot for Christianity in terms of making people believe :(

I would like to think I follow many of the teachings of Jesus concerning other people.

I used to do readings for my church, and was an altar boy, if that helps at all! :(

My husband and I are called to be evangelists. We both have a calling to go back to the types of people that we came from...we are studying through our church at Five Fold Ministries training academy. Our church is a church that is based on Ephesians 4:11. We are here to equip the saints of God to do the work of God.

No worries, Hamburgers, not everyone was meant to be an evangelist or such. I believe some were meant to plant seeds, some to see them grow, some to raise them up...some have a combination of these gifts.

I'm starting to realize that my role is more that of a nurturer than an evangelist. I've never had a gift for going out to the streets and preaching, or things like that...for a long time I tried anyway, and thought that my lack of gifting in that area was my own failiure. I've come to realize, however, that I'm far more gifted in areas like hospitality, and in being a teacher to those younger (spiritually and physically), and in just being supportive (whether by prayer, or in encouraging words, or whathaveyou) of those who are in other areas of ministry. So...in various ways, that's what I do.

I'm afraid to post all I do because I want praises from God not man.

I prefer the rewards in heaven.

Amen, Giaour! I think you are right. I am deleting mine. Too late, I know, but I was answering a question...it is the public works that were asked about...deleting just the same.

:21: Why not Hamburger?; There are probably plenty of people around you, that are on the road to hell, that need to hear the Good News. I remember one time, this boy I worked with and I were working a security detail in an abandend factory, and as he and I were walking around on the factory floor, I began seeing demons flying around the machinery. But I also was seeing angels chasing them.

This boy came up to me I believe his name was Tony, and He asked me; " What are those black things I keep seeing flying around the Machinery"? surprised; I said " You can see those things"?; to which he replied; " yes, what are they"?; I told him that they were demons, and then asked him if he could see the white ones chasing them.

He said; "No; but I want to know how to get saved right now!!?, and I led him to the Lord, beautiful. This was a spiritually positive experiance.

Are you still going to Church hamburger?; perhaps you and a few of your brothers could get together and witness, or if that's not possible, let me know, and I'll go over to the Atheist board with you, that's always alot of fun.

The truth is Christ came to this earth, gave us the good news, then told us to spread it around, so that others could reep the benifits.

Like you, I do street evangelism and door to door witnessing on a regular basis. I also do home Bible studies on a regular basis. I also produce my own Gospel salvation fliers and place them on cars, and doors to homes.

Luk 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

I just consider it fellowshiping, getting to know each other, it's not a pride party or anything like that. The disciples shared with each other the things that were going on in their lives, I believe what you are refering to is, that we shouldn't toot our horn in order to exalt ourselves. I for one have a lot failures to add to the list as well.

I am a Florida Baptist Disaster Response Team volunteer.

I also do some other things but I have mentioned this before for prayer requests.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
