I personally drop into Wal-Mart for various items in both the USA and Canada. People are often quite envious when somebody makes good, aren't they? But maybe Wal-Mart might give consideration to switching from McDonald's to Starbucks in 07? THAT would be a big plus.

Starbucks may be under contract with Target and not allowed to compete against it in the market, by opening up shop in Wal-Mart.

my husband is union and that means alot

Wal Mart gave over 250,000 to the gay and lebisan cause last year

those 2 reasons alone will stop me from shopping at wal mart

I'm surprised that you're all not against shopping at wal-mart since the majority of their products come from countries that mistreat their employees or use prison labor. I buy American, it may cost a little more and at times it can be a pain but I'd rather pay for an Americans labor than someone in China.

Oh brother. We went 'round and 'round with this last year. Let me put it this way: Say that a U.S. company pays a third world factory worker $3 a day. Do you think that worker had a higher-paying alternative but stupidly chose a lower-paying job instead? I'm betting the $3-a-day job was superior to his next best alternative.

I'm a proud Wal-Mart shopper. And, in case you hadn't noticed, every employee at a Wal-Mart in America is American. When you shop at a Wal-Mart, or Target, or K-Mart...you are supporting the American worker. Geeze louise.

That is a shame. You can save a great deal of money shopping at Wal-Mart. After the anti-Wal-Mart campaign was started by liberals, I started shopping there all the time, even for all of my groceries. It is amazing how much money I have been saving.

I was in California about a month ago, and was checking into a motel. An obviously liberal woman came in asking where the nearest grocery store was. The desk clerk told her there was a Wal-Mart just up the street. She immediately said she wanted to go somewhere else, and he proceeded to tell her about a grocery store 5 miles away. As she started to leave, just to see how she would react, I asked the clerk where that Wal-Mart was? She gave me a dirty look and walked out.

Man, typical attitude of some in California.
