Ok guys let me go at this from a different direction. Pay very close attention and get your Bible out.

1 Kings 8:13 (This is Solomon speaking here) I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell FOREVER.

Jonah 2:6 to the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in FOREVER.

We have a bit of a problem here because Jonah was not in the belly of the whale forever but for only three days. And as we all know the temple of Solomon is not there and God does not dwell in it. So when we run into a discrepency like this we stop; wonder;I and go on a wild search for the original WORD, the original being the only right one. The original word in these scriptures is Olam in Hebrew. It means for a duration of time which is concealed or hidden. So now we know forever here does not mean forever as we understand it in the english language. I could show you many many scriptures which have mistranslated the word Olam but I think you get the point.

So now we are curious, if this has been clearly translated wrong where else is there a wrong been done. Staying with the word Forever go to the Greek and see for yourself what the word is. If you really are interested in the truth go buy a Greek original New Testament. The word in the Greek is Aion. Except now we have another problem aion does not mean forever it means for an age, for a period of indefinite time. So where else in the Greek NT is the word Aion translated into a wrong word? (forever, never, course, world, ever, evermore, and it's real meaning age), then we have it's adjective aionios which is brought from the Greek text and translated into (eternal, everlasting, world, ever) If you don't want to go to all that hassle at the very least look up Eon in your dictionary and it will say it comes from the Greek word Aion which is an age, or a lifetime. So perhaps with this you can see why all those scriptures you keep wanting to quote to me in the english are not holding water with me because they don't mean what you think they mean. If you truly desire truth over all else check out what I'm saying here, I'm not telling you not to investigate it and believe me if you can dispute the truth of what I'm saying then I am very willing to listen. Also you guys what I have a desire to do is take my little nugget of truth and hold it to my breast so I don't have to go through these kinds of debates, but how loving on my part would that be.

So lets look at this in a sober manner without all the desire to be right going on. This mistranslation was not done until 420 AD if I remember the date correctly. You guys are blowing through my posts with out even double checking the information.

As far as Jublilee goes Dove would you please go look at the laws instead of making up your own version. The law of Redemption and the law of Jublilee are two totally different things and what you are speaking of is the day of the atonement which again is different. To fully understand these things go to the Hebrew thread and ask alot of questions, or get down and study the Mosaic laws, you will with time and study come to know of what I speak. As far as being distressed I am nothing in the way of being distressed. I used to be distressed, I used to feel anxious about all this and I had so very many questions, questions I put to God. I have as One Accord says been through a labyrinth of denominations each of which goes against scripture in one way or another. My life is devoted to and the unearthing of the pearls of Gods wisdom and I have found solace, comfort and great joy at His side. And now with the finding of the little word aion I have found so much peace, and joy unmeasurable I don't even know how to explain it. Christ came into the world with a mission and that was to take away the sins of the kosmos (world) all of creation. And He will do just that, and it is not dependent on what we do. God's will will be done on earth as in heaven.

Teri, I hate to have to tell you this, point blank, but you are still following teachings that go against Scripture.

When we reply with Scripture showing where what you are saying is not biblical, you will barely refer to the post at all, but just keep on telling what you believe. Look to God's Word, Teri. It does NOT say what you are saying. Who's right? God, and His Word, or the teaching you are believing now?

I don't know who you have been studying under. You are a very misguided person. You give heretical statements like in your first post to me. Saying, "We will all be God." I was really hoping that I had misunderstood what you said.

I have studied the Mosaic Law much. If you want to live under the Law that is your choice, but someone is teaching you wrongly and putting you under condemnation. You don't believe that then study the New Testament for yourself. There is no sense in me giving you scripture after scripture and trying to show you anything. You say you are open. You are a closed book and believing heresy.

No, I am not curious as to what you are trying to teach because it is wrong. Your problem is listening to the wrong people and not really studying what the scriptures has to say.

We don't have a problem for Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days. This showed Jesus. I have never heard any different. I have a Greek and Hebrew translation. I don't think you are doing this study on your own. I believe you are following someone that is feeding you wrong information.

You are just coming up with off the wall stuff and not answering anyone's questions. You are trying to give your false teachings that don't hold water.
