dugmando,

I agree and thank you for your discourse it has been very interesting to say the least!

But still have questions about the conditions of the Soul and Spirit because I do believe that what we shall become is what God intends for us to be all along but also because of our free will it must have to be accomplished as it has.

And I thank you also for your participation and thoughts. I think you are also correct in the above statement. God will achieve His plan, you can be sure of that.

Well, if you are talking about Physical Death, of course (except Enoch who was translated ), as I have stated before, NO flesh and blood can enter the kingdom of God. Are you not glad that we are going to physically die? However, again, NO ONE dies spiritually in the image and likeness of God. Those who are born again spiritually is alive forevermore. That's why Eve is called the Mother of ALL Living. Eve was the first Lady to be Created, Eternally.

Physical death is all that we are speaking about. The sin that follows is what causes spiritual separation or spiritual death. All men were created in the Image of God. That Image was tainted by sin. But that Image was not lost. It was made whole again, was restored by Christ's work on the Cross. All men are human beings created in His Image. All men have been restored to that image. The difference comes in that most will reject being conformed to the likness of the Image. All men will live forever, but believer will live with Christ forever. That is the difference.

Dear Thaddaeus,

The physical making of Adam from the MUD becoming a natural living soul (flesh and blood) is not an image and likeness of God. The Almighty God is a Spirit WITHOUT physical shape or form.

In order to be created in the image and likeness of God, one must be CREATED spiritually in Christ

But man is not JUST physical. He also has a soul. He is the combination of both material and divine.

In order to be created in the image and likeness of God, one must be CREATED spiritually in Christ

Thaddeus,

I hope this makes some sense IMHO as you so correctly said:

Being spiritual simply means one is in communion with God. Adam was walking and talking with God in the Garden. He had a spiritual relationship with God.

Man was created for the sole purpose of having union and communion with God. Adam was in a spiritual union.

For adam to have any relationship at all with God it would have had to been spiritual because as we all know God is a Spirit.

But I also think physical too, first reason I think so is because of the fact that adam walked and talked with God and second reason is that The Garden was a perfect place and before the fall adam did not know sin.

By being in this Perfect Place and sinless it allowed for God and man to be in Union with one another without man perishing.

Hence the physical ability to walk and talk together.

It is interesting to consider this fact God named adam:

Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam

How intimate, how personal and how spiritual their relationship had to be, for me to really know you one of the first things I need to do is learn your name because your name tells me who you are it identifies you, well who could know you better than the One who named you.

Truly God had and continues to have through our accepting Christ a deep personal relationship with us.

Doug

dugmando,

Just how Adam talked and walked with God is a mystery really. The Bible also states, actually Christ stated, that no man hath seen the Father. But you are correct that because of his disobedience this union was severed in the way he enjoyed before the fall. It was death and sin, that precluded man walking and talking with God.

Earlier I had also stated that God did have communion with men during the time of the OT before Christ actually entered history. He did so, knowing that Christ would enter and resolve what would have been permanent separation from God.

And what we know and understand of regeneration through faith, is precisely permitting man to once again be in union with God in this life as well as in eternity by virture of the fulfillment of His Coming. Christ is the victor over death, gave mankind immortality, eternal existance and the atonement made possible the forgiveness of sins so that we can walk and talk with God in this life as well.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
