AngelH--To increase your faith in binding, let me share this little incident:

A few months ago my grown son was telling me that he had two  experiences wherein, while he was sleeping, he was attacked by satan.  His body was frozen and he could not move or speak.  He said it was quite alarming and scarey.

When he told me this I told him this was a satanic attack, because he was baffled by it.

Right then and there I went into his bedroom and put my hand right in the middle of his bed, shook my finger at satan and told him I knew he was the one doing this, and I BINDED him in no uncertain terms.

It has never happened again.

Glory be to God for you...telling me about your sons dream...I had one very similar about 3 weeks ago...I so wanted to hear God that I was praying very hard as I fell asleep...and all of a sudden I heard in my head what sounded like a train...thats the only way I can explain the rumbling sound and my body got really heavy and I couldn't move..but yet I felt like I was moving.....if you can understand that?....and about the first 2 seconds I got very excited thinking that I was gonna hear God speak to me...but then all of a sudden I got scared and I know you WILL NOT feel fear if He is talking to you....anyway I started to scream (in my head) for satan to leave in Jesus's name....it took a while but it finally stopped...but it came back a couple of times when I started to relax....gee I guess this happens more than I thought....and you know I never put those two occurances together until now...(the other being what I mentioned in an earlier post about that doubt that comes into my head)....

    I feel alot stronger now about having that Binding you told me about...and now this dream you shared with us...I cannot believe how things like this work out...I feel He knew that this dream was still bothering me and He moved you to tell of your sons experience...I am all goosebumps here...I get so excited about things like this....His ways are still new and amazing to me...

    Your post has truly put everything into perspective for me and now I know I am fighting the good fight...

Ps. just out of curiosity ask your son if he heard the same rumbling noise...it was very loud...

Angel-- To make a small correction, my son didnt have this in a dream, it was just while he was sleeping, that he awoke because he felt his body freeze and he couldnt move or speak. There was no dream with it.  It was actually happening and he didnt even have any feeling in one leg at all.

I will ask him about any noises.  Nevertheless, what you both experienced were attacks by satan and you instinctively did the right thing.  

We just moved here 2 yrs ago, and thats when weird things began to happen again.  I would hear a door shut, or something drop, or just a loud noise, and even the doorbell ring in the middle of the night.  So when I laid hands on his bed that day, I also commanded him to get out of our house too.

And come to think of it, I also have never heard those sounds and noises again since.

I am a rather light sleeper and anything that is out of the normal will wake me up  in an instant.  I answered the door bell thinking some neighbor needed help, or no one would ever ring it at that hour.  No one was there.  

This was just satan trying to pester me.  

My thinking is that someone who lived here in the past may have been entertaining evil spirits, and thats why it just started up again when we moved here.  

A christian should always command satan to move on out, in case there are any "left overs".  Or at least announce that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are moving in with you, and satan is not welcome.

I know what happened with your son is true.  It happened to me several times and I did a thread on it earlier this year.  I was pleasantly surprised how many others came forth and also admitted to demonic attack while sleeping (Ephesians 6:12).  Thank GOD we belong to and have been sealed by CHRIST.

Nothing and no one can ever separate us from HIM (Romans 8:38-39).

Refuge I want to go back to your question about thoughts on is this real. It also happens to old christians. I have had the thought is this real pop out of no where followed by what if it isn't. I have experienced a sudden moment of fear and then I shake my head and think now where did that come from. This usually happens when I get caught up in thinking I know whats best for myself and others. Following my own thinking rather then God. I know it's Satan just trying to sneak in there, but it is also a sign that I need more knee time. Get alot of knee action in and you'll do great.

I hope and pray that once all the smoke wil vanishes things will be very clear in that matter.  You sound more confident now than the first time we briefly touched on it in a previous post and appear to sense the SPIRIT in it all (which is good). Continue to be patient.  :thumb:
