Your knowledge of the Bible is impressive.

What is your attitude toward someone who does not recognize evidence substantiating the authority of the Bible, and therefore rejects your entire argument on that basis?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear 'spblat'

As a finite human being may I say that my Bible knowledge is limited as to the huge volume of information hidden therein waiting to be personally uncovered by me for my own personal edification and education, but that of which I am willing to share with those who ask, never forcing anyone to believe what I dig up. I can only do so much each day and am therefore limited as to what can be gleaned from this great book in one lifetime.

If you are refering to me, in your last post, Haz, then I would answer your question this way.

To someone who does not recognize evidence substantiating the authority of the Bible, and therefore reject my entire argument? If they do not recognize Biblical evidence substanciating the authority of the Bible, then they naturally would not believe in the Bible, and in God, and therefore they would have to believe it all happened by chance. To this I say, as a free moral agent they are free to believe what they like, no worries at all. I would never argue against free choice, never!

There are many subjects covered in both of those, you just refuse to look at the true reality when the true reality means there IS a God, the Bible IS true and you DO have to believe in Jesus to be saved from your sins. Maybe you're driven by the need to continue on in your sins. That's a powerful energy force because it's backed by satan who's goal is to get as many people to fall as he possibly can before he himself goes down into the pit forever.

You accuse me of refusing to see "true reality."

I refuse to accept your definition of "true reality." I may even deny that "true reality"--when defined according to my way of thinking--is even available to us.

Is there a way for us to resolve this difficulty together? Or do you believe that I must readjust my thinking to match yours?

I said what I felt needed saying. Take it or leave it, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do.

I will pray for you, though.

Tell me again why an atheist would embarrass me?

Tell me again why Bible Believing Christians seem to so embarrass and outrage you?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:1-3

Are you proud of your Bible Believing Brothers like Dear Brother Horizoneast.

Are you proud of the complete Holy Bible.

Are you proud of The Lord Jesus Christ?

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:20-22

Is this The Jesus you proclaim as your Savior?

Is Jesus really The Creator?

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Romans 4:11

Are you here to try to separate The Bible Believing Christian from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:20.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20

Do your little buddies at work laugh at God when He says He Is The Creator?

Do you join in their laugher?

Why do you seen so angry with Christians like Dear Brother Horizoneast?

Is it just because they believe and defend The Bible and The Creator?

Is it because he owes you five bucks?

How come you are trying to discourage people who respect and defend science from Darwin's lies?

Are you personally offended when folks have the unmitigated gall to laugh at Godless evil evolution?

Who Is Your Christ?

What Is Your Bible?

Where Is Your Heart?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Be Blessed

Love, Joe

I posted this in answer to a question put to me earlier.

"To someone who does not recognize evidence substantiating the authority of the Bible, and therefore reject my entire argument? If they do not recognize Biblical evidence substanciating the authority of the Bible, then they naturally would not believe in the Bible, and in God, and therefore they would have to believe it all happened by chance. To this I say, as a free moral agent they are free to believe what they like, no worries at all. I would never argue against free choice, never!"

For the record and those who may not know, I now pubicly state that I AM, a believer in God. I DO, believe in the Bible, I DO, believe in creation by God through Jesus Christ who was the Word in John 1:1-3, and John 1:14 as outlined in my first post.

May I add, I was not always a believer. I once was a person who verbally cursed those who believed, and I also threatened to tear up any Bibles left in my vicinity by anyone, at work or at home. I hated believers and thought because of their actions of going to church every week, pubicly praying, most, pretending to be good God loving people, and then returning to their vomit throughout the week without a thought proved God was just a figment in their imagination. Something that made them feel good about themselves.

Now, if a non-believer comes to me and genuinly askes, "Who is God, does He exist, prove it," I would do my best with my limited knowledge to answer him. If someone comes to me, and they often have over the years, and state, "I do not believe in God, creation, or the Bible," I answer. "Thats ok, no worries." I add if they continue to speak to me regarding my attitude, as many are offended by non-believers, "There is one thing we do have in common and that is, as free moral agents, we all can believe what we will, no harm done. I will never argue against another persons convictions, or their right to believe as they will.

There are many Scriptures in the Bible admonishing believing followers, some also condeming non-believers, but its the non-believers that knowingly and wantonly openly mock God that are refered to.

Jesus taught this; "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:44). No amount ot talking, praying, arguing will change this Scriptural, Biblical fact. Its not my job, or IMHOponion, anyones job to save anyone. Thats Jesus,s and the Fathers job. We can witness, as they call it, by living a good life, trying to be Christ like," not bashing our belief's down peoples throats. If a person asks a question, answer it as best one can. If not, keep silent.

The Father, through the apostle Peter's perception in (Acts 10:34) statesd that God is, "no respecter of persons." (Acts 10:34). And Paul in 1 Timothy 2:4 states that God will's that all men to be saved, and will come to the knowledge of the truth. I go along with that! I know that I was saved first, and then, came to some knoledge of the truth, as I honestly studied the Bible, and I am still learning after many, many, years.

What about people who have never ever heard of God or Jesus, or the gospel? You know, one thing I am sure of is this. Jesus Christ died for every man woman and child who accepts Him and His sacrifice for them. He also paid the death penalty for those who had never heard of Him, God the Father, or God the Holy Ghost, or the gospel, as long as they have, lived the good life on the basis of the light they have recieved and followed and obeyed their own conscience regarding good and evil in the society and in the age in which they lived. Romans 2:12-16 is very clear on this.

You see, Paul stated in Romans 2:12-16 that God will do the right thing by EVERY MAN according to the light he has recieved. Paul said, "For as many as have sinned WITH OUT LAW SHALL ALSO PERISH WITH OUT LAW: and as many as have sinned IN THE LAW SHALL BE JUDGED BY THE LAW; (For not the hearers of the law are JUST BEFORE GOD BUT THE DOERS OF THE LAW shall be justified. People who have never heard fo God, but who do the right thing in their society, and in the time they lived on the Earth shall be judged accordingly. For when the Gentiles which have NOT THE LAW, do BY NATURE the things contained in the law, these HAVING NOT THE LAW, are a law unto themselves: which shew the work of the law WRITTEN IN THEIR HEARTS, THEIR CONSCIENCE ALSO BEARING WITNESS, and their thoughts the meanwhile accusing or excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge THE SECRETS OF MEN BY JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL!

When God speaks of warning the wicked, (Ezekiel 3:17-20), He means just that, warn the wicked. No where does God say for anyone to warn non-believers? Im not accusing anyone of doing this but I truly believe its not up to, or good for believers to put down non-believers ever.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
