It feels to me like a spiritual time before satan beguiled God. Which would be a time when all of God's

angels were all on the same page. Before Satan's rebellion: and before or tests, trials and tribulations....

"....before Satan beguiled God." Oops! Are you sure this is what you mean? To beguile means to charm or divert, to deceive or to trick. I don't think Satan ever beguiled God.

Yup - Wherefore come our trials and tribulations......

Satan offended God before he was cast out of heaven. On earth as it was in heaven.... It sounds like he just tried it again

in Eden......

Question,

Could it be that...

Can a man full of sin stand in the Presence of God in All His Glory....No sin would have to flee!

Jesus came in the form of man so that sinful man could be in His Presence and not die.

God cast satan down. His wish for us all is: that none should perish. We are tried by fire to see that we are worthy.

Satan wasn't always full of sin. He was once an angel of light whom God trusted and cared for.

Ruth

Since we live by the ark of the covenant under the old and new testaments, we are required to interpret from the seeds sown in our hearts. In the book of Revelation most of the churches mentioned did not repent and therefore were destroyed. Since we are the Gentiles given a promise, we are still the members of these churches, and God's Revelation applies to us.

Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

When I read the bible I look for relevant modern terms to apply the word to. Since all of these things are of the flesh and of the world, we cannot take them as material. No possessions are of great importance in the kingdom of Heaven. We are God's gold, and our Holy Spirit is what makes us rich.

Everlasting127,

I took it by them embolding verse 5, that OP was asking the difference in what Jesus had and would have returned to Him.

Once He was through the Cross, Death and Ressurection and returned to Glory.

OP's Post:

John 17: 1 These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you:

2 As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

4 I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do.

5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

Does this indicate that Jesus' status changed when the world was formed?

Your replies I cannot seem to follow as pertaining to OP's question. Too dense I guess?

My post was simply a question to ask could it be that Jesus when He came to this earth Took Off/Changed His Glorified State/Form and Took On/Put On the form of man because in His Glorified State sinful man would not be able to stay in His Presence.

All in reference to this change spoken of in verse 5 of John 17.

i.e. of Moses being placed in the cleft of a Rock as God Passed By when He asked to see God's Glory what did God tell him?

That he could not see His Glory because it would kill him because of sin. God has no part of sin

I don't think his status ever changed. He was always the Son of God. He came to glorify the Father and show us how to live in the flesh, so that the Father may be glorified. We are therefore called to service to strengthen the firmament, as it was origanally: without the influence of satan. Being as wise a serpenets, but as meek as doves. With the wisdom to rebuke that which is evil, as God the Father and Jesus did.

Rom 12:2

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Cajunboy::::As I read and understand this scripture/verse......This last verse only verifies what we believe to be true that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are , were and will always be ONE! It is also my belief that God only uses the term "SON" of God because mere man would or could never understand or comprehend if God had sent a part of HIMSELF to come down on Earth, which HE would not do, as we already know. So for man's understanding and comprehension of what God was doing, HE called Jesus, HIS SON!

Note ;;;; this is only my interpretation of What God calls the FATHER, Son, and Holy Spirit !

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
