Just curious? Is anybody else out there experiencing some sort of VERY distinct occasion of separation that is very clearly from God? My husband is going through a very clear period of being pastured apart from another in business, who is very much of the world, and I'm just wondering, if there are some major instances of defining going on within the body? The Lord so very clearly commanded this separating, that I wondered if it was prevalent within the body?

In His Love,

Suzanne

Suzanne, I'm not sure I quite understand the question. Are you saying that your husband is socializing with worldly people? And is that right to do so?

Unclear...

Sorry, Cats, I guess it wasn't clear was it.

No, what I meant was, my husband who has been in a partnership for 18 years, is unequally yoked. The partner (who claims to be Christian, doesn't everybody now days?) is very oppressive and antagonistic to my husbands walk with the Lord. The partners values and beliefs are not Christian, but of the world. The Lord has lead us very strongly to dissolve the partnership, and the lines are being very clearly drawn as to who is Christian, and who is not. We are just seeing very clear calling out of the world in this matter, and clear defining. I was just wondering if anyone else is going through something similar?

In His Love,

Suzanne

Greetings tsth,

Eighteen years is a long time to be a "witness of Christ" to someone with no results. When we are young we may get into unhealthy relationships, but for one reason or another don't break them. Time goes by and little by little the differences show up. Your husband has matured, his partner only gets more worldly and the "separation" becomes a wide gulf.

That's a tough situation, but if the Lord is speaking to the both of you, I would suggest that you both fast and pray for some specific direction. Perhaps yet, the Lord may change the partners heart. But again considering the days we are in, we are to "come out of the world", so perhaps that is where the Lord is leading the two of you.

My best wishes and prayers for the both of you.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Thank you for your kind words brother/dad Ernie, and your encouragement. Yes, that is pretty much what happened, and yes.....the gulf has grown very wide! And the waters extremely rough these days. But it is a done deal, the split is for sure and in progress. I guess it seems as though God is making a point in this event/occasion. To both parties involved! It has just been as I said in my title, VERY DISTINCTIVE! It is seemingly a separating that is going to prove some very important points. I'm just wondering if this is happening for anybody else?

In His Love,

Suzanne

I hear ya , Suzanne! Yes, I've noticed in many situations every day that the lines are being drawn clearer, and clearer. It's time to choose sides. From the little things to the bigger ones. The Lord is calling us to be in the world, but not of it, to choose this day Who we will serve.I'm really feeling this in my life, and my family. I'll be praying God's best for you and your family. It's sometimes hard to make Godly decisions, but I know that your husband will be blessed for standing up for what's right! He's doing the right thing! PM me if I can pray about anything specific for you all.

Greetings in Christ Suzanne:

As I read the posts made I realized that some very specific things are indeed happening that are directed by the Power of the Holy Spirit in this age. Christ has indeed called us to come out from among the world, but more so the Power of the Holy Spirit is beginning to call out people from among the very churches we attend as well and He is beginning to separate those who truely are seeking God in their lives from those who are" playing Christian".

While there are many things that you should be doing like Dad Ernie has suggested, please know that God's hand is also a part of calling you out. When we seek God in our lives He will respond. At one time or another we all are called on to start that journey with Him in a deeper and more comitted relationship. Some have gone on for many years just treading water with Christ, not really having a direction or a goal in mind with their love relationship to and with the Father, but He is now beginning to ask us to give an account for why and what we believe; to look more deeply into our personal journey as we start to grow once more. I thank God for you and for your desire to take a stand no matter what the cost is. That is what the Father is looking for. May you richly bless God through your life in Him;

Thank you for your post US,

Yes, it is most definitely a stand for Christ, as it means completely starting over. It is a leap of faith in this instance, because by all outward appearances, this doesn't make sense. But, because it was so clearly stated by the Lord, we are being obedient, but it is scary. We don't know what our finances will be like when it is all said and done. It will be completely up to the Lord to provide new business for my husband, because we will be completely starting over.

Please pray more than anything, that the Lord will reveal Himself in this instance to my husbands partner, because he knows that this is crazy for my husband to do. I know he must have been floored, because he knows that this means starting over for us, and he also knows that Terry trusts in the Lord, whereas he is strictly a money kind of guy. He has totally put all his faith in his money and wealth that he has accumulated over the years.

In His Love,

Suzanne

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
