glory2000, Two wrongs do not make a right.

Everytime you bring up Clinton completely out of context in an argument having nothing to do with him or his policies, a kitten dies.

Please, think of the kittens. Plus, its the most tired Red Herring argument ever.

Would you like to bring up a few more cliches; or is that all you have???

Well I am disappointed.

President Bush made such a big big deal about how leaks would NOT be tolerated etc, and then of course when it happens he folds with politics as usual. He shouldn't have made those statements until he figured out that the leaks came from the V.P's office.

All of that stuff spouted about bringing honor the White House etc, stuff I really believed, now seems like such a joke.

Grace to you,

The funny thing is that this thing has been spun so bad that the real reason Libby was convicted no longer matters.

Peace,

Dave

Well...Bush made those statements because at the time it appeared a crime had occured. As it turns out, there was no crime associated with "leaking" anything...so Bush is pretty much in the clear on that.

As usual...no matter what Bush does, someone is gonna hate him for it. I couldn't do that job.

You know, there's protocol for pardoning and commuting sentences. You'd think Bush could have at least followed that (i.e. waiting till the appeals process was over). Nope.

It is now well known that the only thing Scooter is guilty of is perjury. Let's see, I guess you can get away with perjury if you are a sitting President of this country.

Yeah, or he could wait until he gets paid for the pardon, like Bill Clinton did on numerous occasions.

What Clinton did or did not do is NOT RELEVANT.

You mentioned precedent. He did perjure himself and was not punished.

Perhaps we could mention Sandy "I didn't know they were in my underwear" Burger.
