His poll numbers would rise in a hurry if he'd pardon the 2 border agents.

He said that he felt the sentence was excessive, and I agree. He did not pardon him (erase the guilt), but he commuted his jail term but leaving the other sentences in placed (2 yr probation and 250,000 fine). I thought the jail sentence was a bit over the top but then again covering up for the VeeP (which I believe is why he lied) is pretty serious. Without the jail time though, he basically gets off scot-free. He will always have a nice cushy high paying job with a company that contributes to the GOP (mark my words this will happen) and he will pay the fine out of his legal fund from his supporters. Granted, he'll be in the history books as a perjurer but he and his family will do just fine. Ah....the rewards of having friends in high places! How is this any different than Clinton pardoning HIS cronies??? I am so disappointed in the man I voted for.

Everytime you bring up Clinton completely out of context in an argument having nothing to do with him or his policies, a kitten dies. Please, think of the kittens. Plus, its the most tired Red Herring argument ever.

Shalom, Nope, it simply means he won't go to jail. He still has probation, fine and the guilty finding. His life is changed forever.

George Bush hasn't done too many things right lately, this is one of the few shining moments of recent months. Peace, Dave P.S. I changed the title of the thread.
