"The Passion of Christ" MOVIE opening February 25

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our HOPE is that this POST finds you and yours well and Blessed as WE ARE.

The REASON for this POST is to invite YOU for a ONE day of prayer and fasting. That day is going to be Valentine's Day. February 14, 2004. The reason for the fast is to honor OUR bridegroom Jesus Christ when He lifted Himself up to be Crucified for the sins of ALL mankind. "This is the GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD" to mankind. The last twelve hours of HIS life and sacrifice for US will be depicted on February 25th at "The PASSION of Christ" the movie by Mel Gibson.

Jesus stated in Marks Gospel 2:18 And John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting: and they come and say unto him, Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples fast not? 19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. 20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that DAY.

I'm in! Hopefully many lives will be changed through this movie. It would be great if we could all spread this word around... even print up copies of your post and get them to people. The pastor at my church said we shouldn't let our friends who are non-believers go see it without us.

the guy from Life on the Edge, states that he would normally speak against anyone seeing ( ANY ONE ) an R rated movie......

except this one, and he says that he thinks every one ought to see this one....

word has it, that all showings have already been sold out in Joplin Missouri for this movie.....

WOW..... that was a few days ago......

if the theatre was smart, they would have one more showing each day, until they are sold out.... and so forth.....

I know if i was sold out before the release date, i would schedual another showing each day..... and some days maybe two... or use two theatres seating for each showing..... that is me.....

would be neat to see them do that and any income off the extra showings go to local missions.... such as shelters and widows and children and such...

I wonder if the movie will emphasize the resurrection at all? At least show an empty tomb, or something?

I think it would be incomplete to not mention that Christ rose from the dead.
