I am not sent to the lost... but to awaken the Called from their slumber... to those who will hear...because our LORD cometh...everyone's mission is not the exact same as everyone else's

Not called to witness to or preach the gospel to the lost? Every believer is called upon to spread the gospel. No one gets a pass on that one, no matter what their mission calling is.

WRONG...everyone is to do the will of the Father...whatever that is...women are not to preach are they?...Silly :whistling:

So would you say that every person whos has been led to christ by a woman isn't saved?

...How you actually twisted what I said to mean that women who lead persons to Christ aren't saved...AMAZING.... all I said was women are not to "preach"...a woman leading a person to Christ in her home or in the privacy of a home or quite place ...is not going out and preaching... to do so is no condemnation... or even to speak to a "women only" group...with no men present is fine...but for a woman to stand before mixed company and expound on the WOG is not scriptural and will not be in God's perfect will...But this is a whole 'nother thread!....back on point... Women are not to speak biblical authority over men...Period...Paragraph!

Let's stay on topic :24:

I wasn't twisting what you said. I was asking a honest question. If you can't take having your views questioned that's your problem not mine. I would point out that whether or not they are in public or in their own homes the "Preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness" If a woman is speaking to a women's only group as you say, about he cross then she is preaching.

As for you not being called to preach the gospel I don't get your reasoning at all here. I agree totally that everyone has a mission, I have just retired from 30 years in the cult ministry, rescuing people from cults and teaching christians how to share their faith with cult members but non of that absolved me from preaching the gospel according to the great commision.

Look I don't want to get off on why women are not to preach...suffice it to say taht the WOG says they can teach other women...and that's that...if you have scripture to the contrary ...let's have it ...BTW: I love being questioned about anything I post...I run from none...I take on all ...NO PROBLEMO! Bring it on! :o

Was the Treaty of Tripoli ever signed??? Isn't that the bill that was written and is still floating around after all these years but was never signed or voted into part of the US laws????

Well. . . You have to find some straw to grasp at and be able to point to and say that America was not founded on Judeo-Christian values. Despite a mountain of evidence to the contray. Ya 'gotta love revisionist history. . . :24:

Thank you... I have asked this before...from what "God" did the Founding Fathers state we were given inalienable rights? ...I'm still awaiting an answer :whistling:

Whatever god the people believed in. For them, I'm sure it was the christian god but for a muslim they'd be talking about allah, Brahman for a Hindu and so on. Don't you think that if they wanted everyone to know that America was a christian nation, they'd say Jesus and the holy spirit more times than zero.

Actually, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and Thomas Paine were all deists.

A straight forward answer would be appreciated...not some scrambled eg like this...I repeat ...What God here the F.F. referring to when ascribing that He has given us inalienable rights??? Please keep it to one word if possible...you've already given me the dribble... :o

I thought Azusa Street was in Los Angeles....(minor point)

Correct... azusa street

But in reality... is LA any less of a capital of gayness than SanFran? You are correct but what is the real difference between the two? :whistling:

Oh nothing much, just two different cities, if you messed up just say so, don't try to spin it like it doesn't matter.

Spin???...not from me...I cop to error ...immediately... I love correction...hen it is scriptural...and to misstate a fact is no big sin...as long as when one is corrected ...they accept it with grace and humility... But even you admit ...there is very difference...Oh! BTW:...one week to the day after the Holy Ghost fell in LA...SanFran was destroyed by the earthquake... I knew there was a correlation...but thanks for the correction  ...Correction and chastisement is a good thing...who wants to deliberately be in error? :24: ...NOT ME!

What god in one word? ANY

What the Founding Fathers may have believed themselves, has nothing to do with what they left "OUT" so that the religious persecution that was fled from in Europe wouldn't happen here............................

I don't really know if this article is valid or not.

But anyways, What gives Christians the right to directly insult another's religion and disguise it as "prayer", and not be told to leave-assuming they were making a scene? I think that's rather disgusting actually and a complete lack of respect. The Golden Rule applies here. You would be Praising the lord, if a Hindu or a Wiccan or whatnot interrupt your prayer session disrespectfully and was forced to leave. This sounds like an article from RaptureReady.com (From what I've browse through on that site)

Agreed. I found the article alarming and revolting. Christians demand respect for their religion but refuse to give it. It is this type of insanity that gives christianity a bad name. This thread is both disgusting and hilarious. You guys are frighteningly funny.

Unbelievable! Christians defending satan? Did christ seek to soothe the evil when he tossed them out of the synagogue with a whip? Did he care about the farmers pigs when he cast legion into the pigs and drove them into the sea?

Do we as christians NOW sit quietly while satans followers offer up prayers to Satan instead of God?

What happened to defending the faith!?? What happened to putting on the armour of God and going into battle with the truth against the Satanic forces?

yeah its disgusting!

I cannot keep it to one word because it is not one God. They are referring to whatever God you believe in.

You're on a Christian forum.

If you're worshiping anyone that is not God, then you're worshiping Satan.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
