Again America Flaunts Her Disdain For the True God

For the last 300 years the almost every congress member has been christian so a christian prayer has been used because noone objected. But now their are people of every faith and so they need to use different prayers. Take turns, if you will.

Then don't penalize christians when they object to Satan entering the halls of Congress. That is a definate and major vviolation of their religious freedoms!

Well, it's a definate and major violation of religious freedom to deny other forms of worship also.

and where in the Constitution is there the provision that allows "ANY GOD" ... or did they alway refer to one?

I think it was more of a DUH for our founding fathers.

I guess they assumed that everyone would know who they were talking about. Because Christianity was the most prevalent at the time the country was founded. They themselves were Christians as well.

Had muslims founded America and they wrote "creator" in their documents, we would have just assumed that they were talking about allah.

Muslims couldn't use any other name for god except allah... there is no way they could just elude to a "God"...some all purposeful " Creator"...good point In fact...the way the FF set it up ...was exactly the way the God of the bible would want a government ...that the LORD is not running...God doesn't force anything down anyone's throat...does He? Neither did the FF want religion forced down anyones throat...

The FF's patterned this country and its government and structure after the model of the new testament church.

America was founded on Biblical principles, not many can deny that...the foundational themes of life, liberty, and "all men created equal" are straight out of the Bible

sadly, we have fallen so far from that lofty beginning...very few take the Bible seriously anymore

In the begginning of our country slavery was legal and women had no rights, but then again the bible says slavery is o.k. and that women are basically property too, So maybe we did base the constitution upon it. Good thing we moved away from that.

The first amendment does not apply on private property EVER! it is only applicable in a goverment or public setting. churchs are private property and not subject to that.

We have had JW's, and other cults enter our church to start stuff, and they are ushered out the door and set off the property with a warning not to return.

Again, you take the bible out of context, slavery was legal for specific reasons in the bible, and limited in timeframe and slaves were paid for their services!
