Eliyahuw,

just like you cannot undo a circumsision, you cannot undo salvation.

Then you obviously believe that every single Jew before Christ has been saved. Including King Ahab. By the way, how were women saved in the OT since they were not circumcised?

But seriously, some of your statements are right from the hip.

Again, you are making your Gospel only four or five lines long. You might as well discard all the rest since you continually disregard what Scripture is teaching. Especially after several others have enlightened you as well.

your main cause of confusion is that you do not understand the creation of man, the purpose of our very existance.

You are constantly conflating salvation of mankind and the individual salvation of our souls as the same thing. Thus your massive confusion over the "works" texts. When discussing any thing about a believer, one can separate from the salvation of mankind, the Work of Christ on the Cross. It redeemed mankind from the fall. The fall is an interrupter of the work man and God were doing together before the fall. We were given life and our sins propitiated so that as human beings, saved from the curse of Adam, the condemnation of death, could unite with God freely. We must get on with the reason we were created, now that we are immortal, eternal and can live with Him for an eternity. Without immortality all the faith in the world will not save you. You could possibly have a relationship with God in this life through sacrifices as the OT saints did, but any relationship would end at death. Man became mortal through the judgement against Adam. That was a problem man could not fix, no amount of works will give any man life. How can a dead, mortal being give himself life. And if you do not have life, you also cannot enter into an eternal union with God by faith. Death precludes it, thus the need for Christ to overcome that death.

Until you understand these relationships you will not understand the scriptural meaning of salvation. The whole plan of salvation.

This does get us right back to the OP of this thread. Why baptise anyone, if the dead are not to be raised. This is in I Cor 15 and I Cor 15 is the heart of the Gospel relative to the importance and meaning of the resurrection. If the dead be not raised, then our faith is vain, and so is baptism. Faith does not grant eternal life, ONLY Christ through the Incarnation, taking on our human natures and raising them to life, immortality. All men shall be raised. If even one is not raised, Christ failed and none will be raised. Not a single human being will be lost to death, physical death. The only death man must fear is spiritual death, unbelief. Faith is the key and it is through that faith, the works, by which we are saved individually justified before God. We will need to give a good account of our works at the judgement seat of Christ. Rev 20:12. No place will you find that we are judged by our faith. Why, because it is the faith couplied with works that will save us. Works is evidence of faith. He that believeth. It is an active, constant faith, of believing. When we lose faith, we are no longer believing. Thus we are no longer a believer, but an unbeliever.

Follow faith, you follow salvation of your soul.

Baptized?

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:13

Receive

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:8

Confess

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10

Believe!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

See Jesus And Be Blessed

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Numbers 6:24-27

Love, Joe

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
