Sure it is a cultural thing for women to have smooth hairless legs in Western society, but is it vanity? Most Western men dislike hairy legs on females. Alot of European women keep their body hair on because it adds warmth during the cold months and hairy armpits are the norm. To start adding plastic, silicon etc into the breasts because it makes one feel more feminine, curvy, hubby likes etc IS vanity and not altogether necessary. Like Paul says, everything is allowable to us but not all things are necessary. I was unemployed for a month..... placing aps all over, as far away as an hour drive..... I went in and applied for a 9.50 an hour job, the lady looked at my resume' and made a call, and i was offered 15 an hour on the spot..... a week and half later, they still had not called me back ( i was calling every day) after two full weeks of this, they called and said be here monday at 8 am.... oh yea, the wage of 15 an hour was a mistake....... try 17.45 starting...... ( during the lay off, i made about 50 a week, and tithed plus.... ) God is good..... yellow teeth? hmm think i will keep them.... and my thinning hair and receding hairline..... and my graying head, and my aching knees...... God has use for them as they are... medically? do not have insurance at 1000 a month, that would be money that could go for souls.... I do not need it, my wife and me are doing great.... we ache, but we are doing great..... as I was told sunday evening, by God himself, as He told Paul, His Grace issufficient.... how much money is spent on make up a year? in this house, there is none.... Teresa does not use it, I love her for her.... Another question....Should a man use Viagra if he's not wanting to reproduce? Especially with all the medical side effects? Maybe he should be happy with what God gave him! As far as your Viagra comment... ...perhaps his use of Viagra also has to do with keeping his missus happy and content...just at thought. I suspect most men, Viagra-dependent or not, engage in sexual relations for reasons other than procreation. As with other comments re: breast work, you're always treading on shifting sand trying to "get into" the head of another person. We're pretty complicated creations. Yes but Marnie, I have to wonder with all the "viva Viagra" hype just how much is necessary and how much is, misuse and abuse. I understand much of the youth is experimenting with it just to for endurande proposes. Also, I leaned in the medical field and at a very young age, that if the male, and female alike, take good physical care of themselves with a regimine of exercise , there's little reason why men can perform waaaaaaaay up into their elder days. I am cool with it.* * In the interest of full discloser I should point out that I am a heterosexual man with eyesight. Therefore, my opinion on this matter may be influenced by the inherent bias of being a heterosexual man with eyesight. (Ok, in all seriousness. I don't think its any worse than most of the other vain things we do, but I do think it can be a problem if its done for self esteem reasons, and I certainly would not be for my daughter getting one.
