They held it at Wye River one time prior. Someone once posted or I saw it somewhere what the supposed Prophetic significance was of MD being one of the 13 original Colonys and States.

Wye River is significant somehow.

The only historical note I can find is this:

The river's most notable feature is the 2,800 acre Wye Island, most of which is part of the Wye Island Natural Resources Management Area, managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources State Forest and Park Service. William Paca, the third governor of Maryland and a signatory to the Declaration of Independence, once owned the island. From Wikipedia

OK, the Wye River is on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay from Annapolis.

Well,

The Wye River conference center used to be called the Wye River Plantation. As well as being one of the first places that European feet entered the Eastern Shore about 1534. There was a huge Catholic community in Talbot County and in specific Kent Island and Wye River. As early as 1619 there was a Jesuit Mission there called "Blood Point."

There was also a Christian Chapel built there as early as the 1650's. Then a second Chapel was built around 1675.

So it is steeped in slavery and also emancipation both spiritually and pphysically.

I wish I could remember who was talking about that stuff at the time. I was just really investigating my Faith back then and not really saved.

Maybe Pat Robertson or maybe Jack and Rexella Van Impe?

This was the first time senior Fatah officials hinted at a possible wave of violence if the conference - expected to be held in Annapolis, Maryland, next month - did not meet the Palestinians' demands.

The enemies of Israel are just looking for any excuse to start killing Jews again in another increased wave of violence. Even if their demands were/are met, they will find another excuse to start the killing spree.

True, to a point, but I'm thinking more like the enemies are looking for a justification to destroy Israel, not an excuse. Anti-semitism is growing more everyday, eventually it will be so bad that people will just say, "Oh, I am so tired of hearing about Israel, just destroy it already and let's moveon with our lives."
