The only thing he has accused Bush of is trying hard to find a link between 911 and Iraq.

I'm glad he's the FORMER counter-intelligence chief. Doesn't look like he did a very good job.

I'd like to quote two things that this guy, Clark, said in the second link you posted;

"Now he (Bush) never said, 'Make it up.'

Clarke acknowledges that, "there's a lot of blame to go around, and I probably deserve some blame, too."

The guy, Clark, is trying to sell his new book so he's looking to create a controversy where there really is none. That will save him money on marketing and promotion

The Bush haters will call this "evidence" when it's only sour grapes. I'm sure he'll sell at least a dozen books.

The truth remains that there was no link between 9-11 and Iraq, Iraq possessed no weapons of mass destruction, there is no evidence that Syria received them from Iraq, and the motive for war was trumped up and based on lies, presumptions and misrepresentations both to the American people and our allies.

Bush can take a lesson from Abraham Lincoln, first Republican President:

"You can fool some of the people some of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. "

Well, Mr. Bush, we, the people, are no longer fooled.

Evidently you have been fooled by Saddam and Osama if you think that a war against terrorism on a global scale is not necessary. If there is no link between Saddam and WMDs why were there UN inspectors there throughout the 90s? It just amazes me how short and selective our memory is.

I'm grateful that SOMEONE finally had the kahunas to take real action. All we got from Clinton was finger wagging and some lame threats...and oh yeah..and occasional missile lobbed into aspirin factories.

I wonder, maybe we should start a thread asking ehy the UN didn't do it's job with Iraq? If the UN had followed through with its demands on Iraq and dishing out the consequences they said they would, the US pobably would not have had to go in there.
