Currently I support Mike Huckabee not because he is a Christian but because he is honest, has not and will not sell out to the wall street/corporate interests and shares my social values. Also he is the only non-millionaire in the entire race in both parties.

Yeah...but...don't forget about that whole Jay Leno fiasco. There might be something to that...lol

I vote morals...not religion. It turns out that many Christians have morals...but not everyone who has morals is Christian. Carter was a Presidential disaster, but he was a good Christian man with morals. On the other hand Clinton had no morals but claimed to be a Christian (Baptist.)

At this point I will vote for Mitt Romney because of his moral base. His "Faith in America" speech should be read by every American. I don't think any other candidate has his creed of moral conviction.

I respect that view, but Mitt Romney's judgement comes into question. If he is deluded enough to believe in Mormonism how can he be President? Although I usually vote Republican....if he is nominated I will vote for Hillary Clinton.

I'd put the moral compass of Mitt Romney over Clinton anyday.

To say you'd vote for a person who believes in Abortion, homosexuality, socialism, etc. over a man because he is a Mormon is crazy to me. There are a great many people who believe that we are deluded for placing any faith in Jesus whatsoever. I don't care where a person gets their moral base from...as long as they have one. Hillary (or any other democrat) doesn't have one.

It's not about morals, Axxman; I realize that Clinton's moral code is not on par with my own. It's about judgement. And a practicing Mormon has none even if he is a very moral man.

I get irritated when candidates on both sides say that their faith dosen't enter into their political decision making. WHAT????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your faith should have everything to do with any decision you ever make about anything important!!!!!!! Give me a break and grow a spine!!!!!

I wish I could vote for Jesus to take over. (Oh thats right!!!!) He is going to and perhaps soon!

Even though we all have to stand firm in or morals and integrity...I have a feeling that God is aleady in control and will have the last say, so in fact none of the rest really matters until we all step up to be judged....Amen?

I wonder how many mormons you know, or how much you know about their faith. You're on a precarious edge when you start saying stuff like that. You could easily make the jump to saying you wouldn't vote for a Calvinist Christian because they have no judgement. Or a person who isn't pentacostal has no judgement. Or a person who is kosher...etc. Every belief system requires faith and mormonism is no different than evangelical christians in that regard. In fact, one could make the argument that mormonism requires more faith. To make sweeping generalizations about a persons lack of judgement because they don't believe the same things as you doesn't seem right to me.

Truth be told...I'd vote for a person from the muslim faith before I'd vote for Hillary as long as they had a good moral base.

I am not American.

But one thing I know.....

I would never vote a muslim into office.
