I found this Bible study on gracethrufaith. It is titled Seven Things You Have To Know To Understand End Times Prophecy by Jack Kelly. What I'm offering here is a short (?) synopsis of the study. Hopefully it will peak your interest and you will want to read the entire study. I know you asked for verses, which the study contains, but I would almost have to plagiarize the author to convey the depth of what is contained in the study.

The author used a back scheduling exercise, which is starting at the end of a process and work backwards to see the order things have to happen for the end to occur. He started with eternity. Before eternity is the Millennium, before that the 2nd Coming, before that the Great Tribulation. To get to the Great Tribulation, the anti-Christ must declare he is God while he is sitting as the leader of the World in the Temple.

Naturally, there has to be a Temple built. That event won't happen until the Jews need one, which will be when God resumes His "Old Covenant" with them. That renewal will signal the start of Daniel's 70th week. Daniel's 70th week follows the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39. The Church must be gone for Ezekiel 38-39 to occur.

There is nothing to warn of the Rapture, so there is no way to know when it will happen. So, what the author teaches is

  • Rapture
  • The Battle of Ezekiel 38-39
  • Daniel's 70 weeks
  • The Great Tribulation
  • The 2nd Coming
  • The Millennium, and
  • Eternity.

I hope that you will read the Bible study if you are interested in End Times prophecy.

Bible Study

edit: the study is easy to understand and follow.

Yes, Eagleswings....I was very inspired by that scripture as well. Also, did you not when God said that one person may be taken and one right next to him might be spared.....As if to say that many will be left on Earth in the end times???? I thought that was interesting, because I never really got IT until just then...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually Matt. 24:36 starts the parables of the one taken and the other left. If you start there at the beginning you will see the ones taken does not refer to those saved from anything. starting in verse 36 it is describing what happened to the wicked in Noah's time. They weren't prepared so they were taken by the flood. It then proceeds to let us know that this is how it will be at the coming of the Lord. Luke explains the same event in chapt. 17 starting at verse 26. The version in luke 17 differs slightly because more info is added. It tells about Sodom and Gomora and Noah. After the parables of the one left and one taken is finished the disciples ask a question. Where Lord? Jesus replies with, Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather." The disciples weren't asking what happened to the ones that were left. They wanted to know about the taken ones. Jesus' answer let them know they were dead. When Jesus comes the wicked will die which is what it is talking about here and those left alive will go with Him. vultures would not be feeding on the righteous living at His return so it would have to be the dead. The only ones where circumstances change is those taken. They are taken from among the living. These parables are best used to explain how one group will be caught unawares and one group will not.

The important thing is to remember to be stayed on Christ and know the signs then there will be no confusion as to who goes and who stays.

Why is this important? :emot-hug:

:emot-hug:

Because Of HIM

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Psalms 2:12

:th_praying:

Jesus

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelations 19:11-16

In His Glory

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

Will Soon Judge All Men

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:5-8

So Now Is The Day Of Grace

Choose Jesus And Believe And Live

Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:16-17

Or Not

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:18

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
