1. How is giving women the right to vote lack of submission?

3. How is saying that a woman is equal and not lesser to a man lack of sumbission?

Totally liberating book for men, my hubby just finished it and it is fantastic; he especially enjoyed the end of the book; didn't really care for the middle chapters...he said it had to do with alot of healing which doesn't really apply to him as he's already worked thru alot of his pain/damage done to him from his past; but again, loved the beginning and ending parts of the book; highly recommends for all men...as an aside Captiviting for women is the counterpart of Wild at Heart. GB

I think we all need to understand that men and women both have their strengths and weaknesses. We need to balance each other out "the two shall become one" There are two lessons in the Bible that come to mind which have taught me a little about women. First, it was Eve who was weak and ate the fruit first. Though Adam wasn't much better, I think Satan knew he would have more success tempting the woman. I think this shows that women can be a bit more susceptible to deceit. However, it was also women that the resurrected Christ first appeared to, not men. In actual fact, it was a man who refused to believe it. This also shows me that women can often be more open and willing to listen. Strengths and weaknesses for both sexes.

On another note, I am only 26 and I have noticed that many (not all) women of my generation are starting to shy away from feminism. They want to be feminine, but not feminist. They seem to realise that it has gone too far and that men really resent it. Just my 2 cents. I am going back to hide behind my barricade now.

weaker means in strength only and that does not bother me at all. I can swing a ax to cut wood but the wood remains intact...hahahahahehehe

The right to vote was something we did need and did not have because we were thought of as uneducated and stupid.

But everything went way to far. But certainly not by the coalition of the day.(the suffrage)

there definitely is a balance, sort of like a thermostat in a house, some like the home warmer and some like it cooler and the couple needs to wait til the thermostat is put into a comfortable zone for both...and it is possible.
