The Lord gave us His Word. In it He has left us the examples of people who heard His voice...Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and they will not follow another...His word tells us that the children of the Lord are led by His Spirit and that the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth...speaking to us what Jesus said...stay in the word...be renewed each day through prayer and study...abide in the Vine (Jesus) and be amazed at His goodness.

Here are some ways the Lord speaks to us.

Through the reading of His word.

Through the preached word.

Through songs in time of worship.

Through the prophetic word and interpretation given in church.

Through dreams and visions.(Matthew 1:20) (Acts 9:10)

Through the still small voice in our spirit as we wait on Him.

Through the unction of the Holy Spirit.

(You'll find the rest of these in your Bible if you look them up in a concordence, such as Strongs Concordence, which I find invaluable)

Sometimes just a one word unction like, wait, be still, stand...or an urgency in your spirit not to go there, for instance once I was driving in my car and the Holy Spirit impressed on me to slow down and not go through the green light just up ahead of me and another car just in front of me...I pulled back obeying His voice...the car in front of me was hit by someone who ran a red light. Had I been behind that car any closer I, too, would have been hit.

Speak Lord, for thy servant heareth...(Samuel)...and the church says...yes Lord and amen.

:D

I do not care if you believe me or not. For your acceptance means nothing to me. For I am not here to live for you nor serve you. I work for He who created me and it is His acceptance that I strive for. As I stated ask God if what I said is true or not. Let Him show you the truth. In the love and grace of my Savior and God Yeshua.

Let me ask you a question. Do you believe that Yeshua is God. That He came in the flesh and that all things He said are true. That all must go thru Him to enter in to salvation that there is no other way. That no longer is there a need for an intercessor between us and Him?

Driving into work this morning God brought to my attention a good friend of mine Val. She is an elderly Jewish lady who grew up in an Orthodox home. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer. While she was in the hospital her rabbi used to come in and pray with her and so did yeshiva students who went to her synagogue. One morning a man in is thirties wearing a prayer Shaw came in and sat down and started talking to her. She looked in to His eyes which she described as the most loving eyes and deepest brown she had ever seen. He called her by a name her mother called her as a child. No one but her mother ever called her that name. He read to her some psalms and then read Isaiah 53 with what she said was a great passion. She had never heard Isaiah 53 read aloud since they do not read in the synagogues she attended. He told her she would be ok and that her Father in heaven loved her. She asked Him His name. He said

I believe that in scripture when Jesus says 'the world will see me no more' He was referring to the people of the world who do no believe in God. As children of God we are no longer of this world. IMO.

I would like to share something personal here. My intention is not to persuade anybody, because we are all in different places in our walk with the Lord. Each of us has unique experiences because we are unique.

Here goes,

As a very small child for many years I was sexually abused by a relative. It went on and on for a very long time. I remember the last time that this relative came into my room to abuse me.......

I was sitting in the corner of my little bed with the sheets pulled up around my neck. My bedroom door opened, and I gazed into the eyes of a person whom I believed was the devil himself. I was 9.

I felt the weight of an arm around my shoulder, and an undeniable strength and courage rose up within me. I looked straight into the eyes of my assailant, and very calmly said "If you touch me, I will tell my father". Pretty courages coming from a child. My bedroom door closed, and my relatives moved far, far away.

It was years later that the Lord revealed to me the significance of that night. You see the pressure on my shoulder was Jesus sitting beside me. And as much as

'telling my father' meant in the natural...."My Father" in heaven was already taking care of me.

That experience has allowed me to not blame God, but rather to embrace Him. It has taught me forgiveness....for without it I would have surely have perished.

Blessings,

Karen

Respectfully, every fiber of my being screams that this cannot happen. It simply is not Scriptural. I'm not calling you a liar. I believe you saw something but you know there have been many manifestations and beings in the world who do miracles, there's even statues that do miracles. Mary, Meitreya, every voodoo priest in Haitii etc. I'm just saying be careful because even though some wonderful things happened to you, deep down you cannot deny that this is not Scriptural.

As for your questions, Yes Yeshua is God. Praise Adonai!!!!! Of course. I have a Messianic background given I've been blessed to have a dad who is a wonderful Messianic pastor. Yes we need Him as an intercessor - not sure of the questioning though.

By going by that statement you will see me no more, Paul, didn't see him then. I quess Paul witnessed some voodoo spirit that claimed He was Messiah. And all the fruit that Paul bore was a mishap of these spirits that happened to glorify God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
