I'm surprised I didn't catch the news earlier. Here's his website posting: Solid Rock And here's a bit more about his life and final week: http://www.transworldnews.com/NewsStory.as...8060&cat=16 http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/new...arrynorman.html http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?idarticle=14596 http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news...arry-norman-rip He had had heart problems for many years, and came close to death many times over the past decade or so. He gave a concert on Friday, and died of heart failure at home in Oregon about 2:45 Sunday morning. God bless him, I've got a whole collection of his albums, CDs, and videos. He wasn't an ideal Christian, but he was uniquely foundational to the genre of Contemporary Christian music. If you've somehow missed catching the great songs of an earlier era, every CCM lover ought to here his early recordings - they're as relevant now as they were in the 70s. He's in my all-time top 10 of CCM artists.
