Sure. So what if Barack called Farakhan a minister? Barack has also called Farakhan a black supremacist and, in the debate the other day, he denounced and rejected Farakhan's endorsement. If Obama lost your support because he didn't go far enough in rejecting Farakhan, then I'm thinking he didn't have too much of your support to begin with.

If this were a perfect world, a world in which everyone was rational and educated, there wouldn't be any hoopla. Unfortunately, however, some people think Mr. Obama's middle name represents a meaningful connection to a certain dictator and the Muslim world in general. They think that his middle name alone should disqualify him from the election. Most people, however, recognize this notion to be totally irrational and bigoted, and they disagree vehemently with it. But nobody likes being called bigots, so the bigots argue back, seeing themselves as victims of undeserved name-calling when, in fact, they are only victims of a society that no longer tolerates racism, sexism, and all related forms of bigotry. That, my friend, is what all the hoopla is about.

This offends my moral sensibilities, and I guess this is where we differ.

For instance, I don't like McCain because I think there are many valid reasons he shouldn't be President. So when I am trying to convince a person not to vote for McCain, I use those reasons. I don't appeal to bigotry. I don't need to, and even if I did, I wouldn't. Bigotry is wrong and you're giving it a Machiavellian, not a Christian, justification.

I would imagine that if someone could go back in time to Germany before Hitler took over, and convince the people to prevent him from taking power by simply using something scary in his name, they would gladly have done so. This situation is no differen't, because having Barak Hussein Obama elected will lead to the death of untold numbers of innocent babies. It came out earlier about Barak Hussein Obama being anti-military. There weren't any specifics mentioned about how this potential commander-in-chief would handle things when it comes to our national defense. In a You-Tube video, he said he wants to cut spending for the development of combat weapons,

Perhaps he, like most physicists, thinks there are more promising uses of hundreds of billions of dollars of the taxpayers money, things like using that money for toilet paper or burning it for warmth.

China already has weapons in space, but Barak Hussein Obama refuses to do so. Why in the world would you cut spending for the development of combat weapons? To let our enemies catch up with our technology? Why reduce our nuclear arsenal? We already spent the money making these bombs. There is no sense in reducing what we currently have. I could possibly understand him saying he doesn't want to continue to make more nuclear weapons, since we can already blow up the entire world with what we have, but to say he would reduce the current arsenal?

This man is dangerous, and the more that trickles out about him, the more ammunition we will have to bring him down.

The danger in having such a large arsenal is that some could at some point become unaccounted for, or an accident could occur. We don't need nearly as many as we have, plus it costs money to store them, so why not reduce our arsenal. The fuel in them could be resold for civilian reactor use.
