Healings in today's church

That is exactly how it was when Nathan was healed. I COMPLETELY gave him to God, knowing full well that God could have taken him to ease his suffering. LIke I said it was the hardest thing I ever did, but it was truly ALL given over to God and He worked as He saw fit and I praise Him for it!!

I have personally known one person that was healed from cancer without any chemo or radiation.

What I wonder about is I've heard from missionaries that in Chili and China people are being raised from the dead. I don't know if this is true or just a fabrication. Anyone know?

I have been healed, as you know from cancer, without radiation or chemo; but did have 2 surgeries; one revealed the cancer; the other was exploratory; to remove and they could not find any.

I also have heard some people say they have witnessed people raised from the dead in other (3rd world for lack of better words) .

But the disciples knew who and when to lay hands on and one time they couldn't chase out a demon and Jesus rightfully showed them that they were not prepared to do so!

All the miracles that are written in Marks 16th chapter have been in operation since Jesus sent the Disciples out to preach The Gospel witnessed by the signs of The Holy Spirits operations. I have been personally used in this way, and have talked to some missionaries from different parts of the world, and read the testamonies of many that verify that everything Jesus did while He was here has been happening every since. satan doesn't want to body of Christ to believe this, and spends a lot of effort to try to squelsh it. This is available to all true circumcised in the heart belivers who will go and preach the good news. It is only under the direction and guidance of The Holy Spirit which also is available to all.

That is something that I have wondered about.

Do you know people who drink poison and are unharmed by snakes?

There are churches that handle snakes and people die. This is presumption, not faith. Paul shook off a snake in Acts. This is the intent of the verse (accident vs test God).There have been people who were supernaturally saved from poison or snakes if it was accidental. God is not mocked if it was a stupid test of God. Not every believer who is poisoned is protected, but it certainly is in the realm of possibility for God to sovereignly mitigate these things.

Mark 16 is controversial from a manuscript point of view, but it is not inconsistent with the rest of Scripture.
