I agree with the improbable statement, might I add walking on water and coming back from the dead.

Radiometric dating does not work. PERIOD. It is all a fantasy. There are numerous issues that, in effect, require you to take "radiometric dating" on faith. Therefore, this is just one tenet of faith in the Evolutionary Religion.

I call for a discussion of the evidence and this is what I get? If you have strong opinions, feel free to voice them, but for goodness sakes at least do us the courtesy of backing them up with some sort of substantial fact or argument.

Your right to say that we cannot prove god doesn't exist, but if we proved many points straight from the bible wrong. (Earth is old) and many others. Then what else to you have to say? If we were to prove that there never was any massive flood on the earth then what do you have to say? If evolution is true, then what do you have to say? If the world wasn't the center of the universe, OH wait. We already did prove that one wrong.....even if people were burned at steak for attemping to explain it.

Hello All,

I've always been intrigued by the "carbon-dating process" and how scientists arrive at things like the "age" of the Earth.

I have 2 questions for SA, or anyone that has an answer for that matter.

1. These "dating" mathods work on the assumption that it takes a certain amount of time for the measured element to decay to 50% of its original amount. The question is : If you measured the amount of...say..carbon in an object that is being dated and found it to be 400 grams ( lets assume the object weighs 10 Kg ), what was the original amount of carbon in the object when it was created ?

2. How do scientists know when half the amount of "carbon" or whatever material being measured, has decayed, if they don't know the original amount ?

There were hundreds of witnesses to this man from Galilee who WAS raised from the dead.

Really!? Because I saw these guys on tv who ran two airplanes into two buildings for they're religion. They said they were doing it for the better of they're world.

There is a difference between truth and lie.

When one believes a lie they will do crazy things like that, man.

So just because someone is "religious" (like you were and like you are now) does not mean they know the truth.

Now, I'm not going to tell you that christians are without sin but you can't compare Islam to Christianity and say we are even close. That's just silly.

But you are avoiding the real issue again. The truth is that a man named Yeshua ben Yosef Natzrit was crucified on a cross and buried for 3 day before rising from the dead to prove what the Truth is.
