Mea culpa (sorry Fraught) Thanks for the head's up. I clearly need the </sarc> tag. I guess I have had bad experiences with so-called believers who didn't put too much thought behind some of the things that they say. I have heard many, many times this idea that we "worship the same god with a different name" and I just get a bit P.O.'d because its repeated as if it is an indisputable fact. I can see the attractiveness to saying that because it seems so inclusive. I remember reading some time ago various quotes attributed to the late Mother Theresa where she, and many of her faith have equivocated sincerity with saving faith. Something on the order of being a sincere Buddhist, Muslim or Hindu is meritorious for salvation in Christ. Just allowing that thought to occupy my head for a fraction of an instance causes a head ache due to the utter contradictions it conjures up.
