lcpguy, I'm not into political correctness. I'm more interested in right and wrong. This isn't a democrat vs republican thing as far as I'm concerned either.

Answer me this, Do you think Jesus approves of what happened here?

Where have you been? Why do you people act like this is the first time there has been any outrage expressed over the killing, maiming and torturing of people. IT'S NOT! We've been hearing about it and seeing the outrage for years.

Are you even remotely suggesting that the liberal news coverage of the abuses in Iraq, by hussein, matched that what you are seeing today , over the humiliation of a terrorists?...lol

When the WMD scam, yes it was a scam,

do you need to be reminded of all the LIBERAL congressman who endorsed clintons passioned plea of WMD in Iraq or of the 17 'unaddressed' resolutions by the UN for those weapons.

Friend, those WMD went to Syria and were part of the recent plot to kill 20,000 Jordains, by al quada. Did you know that?

Some of you seem more outraged that American transgressions have come to light than you are at the atrocities themselves. Do you think the pictures taken during the civil rights movement should have been kept out of the public eye too? You guys are justifying this pure and simple.

the civil rights movement was totally justified, but this is WAR....remember the 3000? YOU could be next, why tie our intelligence personels hands in protection you...

give up... they conveniently forget that it was the liberals who were screaming about the WMD long before bush took office. they don't CARE about the truth. nor do they care that the entire intelligence officers inherited by the bush administration who provided him with the information were inherited from clinton.

they only care about painting our current white house as liars.

But what does serving God have to do with war? Are you suggesting that God wants us to let pure evil take over? Does He not want us to do all that is necessary to stop it?

Are you sure you meant to make a statement like this?

I'm suggesting that God abhors evil, regardless of whose hand perpetrates that evil. Stopping evil and perpetrating evil are two separate things.

Question: Do you think we have lost our moral highground because of this?

Or .......should we take the attitude: "Do as we say, not as we do"?

Face it, we've been knocked off of our moral high-horse.

you ARE aware that the Bible (even the NT) gives the government discretion to go to war, aren't you?

They are liars. BUT let me make this very, very clear. I am not a democrat. I WAS a republican,.... now I'm neither.

The previous administration was also full of lies and liars. How any of you can have any faith left in either political party is beyond me. Just because the Clinton administration was bad does not make this administration good.

In the end, it doesn't matter whether you're liberal or conservative, two wrongs still do not make a right.

to gyou ARE aware that the Bible (even the NT) gives the government discretiono to war, aren't you?

If you were directing that at me LadyC, yes I do know that. Now what's your point?

Let's go back to square one

Yes, I think we all agree that a large measure of moral authority has been lost. The point I and others are making is that the inflammatory tone of the Bush haters is purposely intended to make this much worse than it already is.

And furthermore it is hypocritical when they only care about these things when it helps them politically.

I guess my question to you charlie, when God returns, what will he do to those who commit evil?

Do you believe that He will offer them love, as Jesus taught?

There is a fine line what our soldiers did. If they humiliated and scared those prisoners to gain information that protects their lives, our lives and the lives of innocent people all over the world, then yes, I believe God will support that. God has said for us to obey our leaders, and I certainly honor President Bush.

If those soldiers were satanic and malicous with no intent at 'ultimate' good, then they should face our justice, and I agree, those trials should be seen in Iraq for the world to see American justice.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
