Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are based on a blood covenant between God and man. In the Old Testament the blood covenant was cut between God and Abraham with all subsequent individuals entering into the covenant relationship by way of circumcision. In the New Testament the blood covenant was cut between God and Jesus when He shed His blood on the cross and all subsequent individuals entering this covenant relationship did so through their acceptance of Jesus as their Savior when His Blood could then wipe away their sins.

The first covenant between God and man was broken over and over by those who were made a part of this relationship between God and Abraham by rite of circumcision. The second blood covenant can never be broken because it was made between God and His Son, Jesus. Those who enter into this covenant relationship between God and Jesus do so by accepting Jesus as their Savior and it is their heart that is circumcised, not an external body part. Our sins will separate us from Jesus, but they do not break the blood covenant between God and Jesus, hence this covenant will never be broken as the first one was.

Since the concept of a Blood Covenant is central to our even being a Child of God, what are your views as to this central concept within the Christian experience. Is this concept even valid anymore in our day and time? Have we moved on to a more modern concept than the ancient concept of a blood covenant? If so, what is it? What is your understanding of a blood covenant? Does it still play a role in our salvation?

Questions to ponder and answers to give.

Firstly , it was Moses who was more to do with the circuncision. Abraham's part was significantly the ram who replaced Issac to maintain accuracy.

Yes, the blood covenant will be referred to for Justice and Godly instruction as heaven and earth remain, and were it to pass away. Praise God we are very secure through the finished work of Calvary.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: Job 19:25

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Joel 2:32

Really?

The First Unbreakable Blood Covenant Was Between God And God

Dear Brother Abram Was Asleep

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: Genesis 15:7-18

Israel Is Still Under The Unilateral God-Sided Unbreakable Covenant

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6

And That Same Mercy And Grace Is Still Extened To All Men

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

If They Would But Believe

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Amen!

Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING Of The Jews

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27

Love, Your Brother Joe

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalms 19:14

" Is the concept valid in our day and time ". Why wouldn't it be? What was happening " back then" that is so different than today?

Does my relationship with G-d somehow change because I drive a truck, instead of a horse and wagon. Or maybe because I no longer have to chop firewood to cook my food.

2000 years ago, people prayed for the ability to put food on the table, I still pray for that ability today.

I'm thinking that if nothing else, people desire a constant, someting, that no matter what does not change: And for me that would be G-d and His Grace.

IBM, ADM, Microsoft, Yahoo and Google will all change and eventually fail, G-d will never change and never fail.

It is quite possible that the "concept" is more valid now than ever before.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
