We need to change the way we use energy, and if nothing else $130 a barrel oil will help do that. Yeah, its gonna hurt - no question there.

Gore and his Warming blew themselves out of the water the first time these phrases were uttered: carbon tax, carbon credits/exchange, etc. Then it just became yet another way to tax regular citizens to death. Its the biggest money scam of all time so far.

Not to mention one thing: If Gore-bal Warming is real, we do not yet have the technology to stop using fossil fuels and still keep the lights on. That requires current technologies (wind, solar, etc.) to be developed further, but where does the rest come from. The technology simply doesn't exist yet.
