I think we all let our emotions get the better of us.

I, for one, hate human suffering. Honestly, I don't care what color a man's skin is..I hate to witness people suffering, whether American or Iraqi.

I am sadden and amazed that someone before said we need to be activists instead of sitting around praying.

Personally, I believe if you really want action, get on your knees and let the Lord who made us all do incredible things before our eyes.

It is still possible, just as it was for Ninevah, for us to repent of our sins and turn our hearts to God.

I am referring to the whole spectrum of sins...from abortion, rape, alcoholism, pornography, child abuse/neglect and the general evil that is rampant in this once godly nation...

I do believe there's a lot more to this whole story than just a few lowly army privates doing a bit of horse play.

I believe that we are all under attack and not only on the battlefield in Iraq but on these boards.

I allowed my anger to get the better of me, also. We need to stop and realize we are brothers and sisters and give Satan a big disappointment and call his bluff.

I am angry at a few people who've done an evil act and I shouldn't take it out on my brethren...which I did. I let my emotions spill over on other people.

I'm hurt. It's really simple. I'm hurt because I actually have compassion even on an enemy. I hate what they do but I still hurt when I see anyone being mistreated.

Let's put down the punching gloves and be of one accord and at peace...we are covered by the same Savior and those who have His Spirit are one family.

Cats, due to my high emotional state regarding the torturous beheading of an innocent American, I have refrained from posting here in this thread. But I just cannot keep silent any longer.

Cats, and the other peace-lovers here, do you realize who and what we're up against in the World? Yes, Satan, number one. But number two is his insidious army of godless heathens who want nothing more than to rape you, enslave you, convert you, or murder you. This is not a rational bunch of folks we're dealing with here. They need to be dealt with in extreme manner. That's all they understand.

This isn't a baseball game. This isn't a game of dodge-ball. This is a war with monsters who do not fear death and want to kill you, and me. An extreme enemy requires extreme counter methods/tactics.

I agree with you, I hate to see anyone suffer or to be killed. I am not a cold person as you know, or should know by now. But this is different. Islam must be stopped and stopped cold! Reread the OT. God has His people not only conquer the enemy, but ordered them to kill every man, woman, child and animal they owned. That's how God dealt with evil. When Jesus said "love your enemy" He was speaking of personal relationships, not kingdom vs. kingdom.

I think that portraying Cat as a peacenik is the wrong assumption. She's been a solid rock as far as supporting the war on terror and those of us that were sent to conduct it. She has a heart of gold and is only trying to point out that we need to stand by our professions of doing the right things. I support that. Back when I and a few others were tearing up this board against the pacifists when the war started, Cats was ALWAYS there for us. Please check old posts to get a better picture of her.

From what I saw in the one I watched the voices sounded dubbed and the scream did not sound like it came from a male. I saw no blood, either from the knife wound as it was made nor on the hands of the person holding the kife.

I was around when one of my uncels accidentally cut the arteries of one of my cousins (a story I will not discuss) and there was blood everywhere. It even went all over the ceiling. In the film..... nothing. I truly believe whoever it was was already dead. Btw we were only two blocks from the hospital and my cousin was revived and still lives.

Download a still picture and look closely at the terriorists. Run theGama levels of the picture up a bit so you can actually see their uniforms.

To start with they don't stand like arabs. The guy on the left is as white as I am and the one next to him is as black as the ace of spades. Look at them closely..... their fat. When was the last time we saw a fat Al-Quaeda terrorist. And all 5 of these these are fat. I personally don't think these people are arabs at all just by looking at them closely.

Maybe I'm wrong..... maybe my distrust of our intelligence people are affecting my judgement, but right now I don't think so.

I've checked into InfoWars before and they are not credible enough for me to believe. That's a shame because some of what they say "might" be true.

Yesterday was a horrible day with the execution of Nick Berg. Everybody's emotions were running high and we were all very angry about it and we still are.

Who would have thought five years ago, that we'd be fighting a War on Terrorism, much less watching the execution by decapitation of a held captive ? This is a bitter pill for us to swallow here and it's sad, because America will never be the same again.

We DO need to support and edify one another as Brother's and Sister's in Christ.

This world has gone crazy in so many ways. Brutal things happen here on our own soil every day.

The Anti-Christ hasn't been revealed to us yet, but the spirit of the Anti-Christ is already running rampant all over the world. That's why there is so much hate and violence. That's why the love of many have waxed cold. Who can make sense of these events, except that the spirit of the Anti-Christ is already working overtime in this world?

We all need to stick together and pray for one another. These are difficult days and it isn't going to get any easier.

Whether we agree on everything or see eye to eye on everything isn't the most important thing, but loving and helping each other as Brother's and Sister's in Christ IS the most important thing.

I think God understands our anger over what happened to Nick Berg. I just pray that God will help us and give us strength and wisdom to know how to deal with what happened yesterday.

Cats, I know you are a wonderful Christian and a blessed Child of God. So many have spoken highly of you on here, (ted, river and other one) and I find it highly commendable, that they would support you on here like that. That is the mark of true friendship.

I know, bro...I'm torn in two.

You know, poor One Accord and I used to get into all the time....because she and I were at the opposite ends of the spectrum. She was against the war and I was for it. She was antiBush and I was proBush.

In fact, I've probably been positioned the opposite of what you've been seeing now.

Maybe it's for several reasons...God has allowed me to actually "suffer" in my body. Newer members don't know my personal problems and lately, we've have even more problems than ever.

I don't like to bore people with details...but I may go back on the morphine. I'm in too much pain and I hurt constantly.

My poor hubby had to go to the ER the other night because we're terrified he had pneumonia...but he's okay on that. They got him on heavy antibiotics. However, I had an asthma attack in the middle of the night and couldn't breathe for over a minute and I really thought I was dying.

So, when the barometer of "pain" is increased in your own life, it's weird...you become super sensitive to other people's pain.

John, you're hyper-sensitive to these things ...just like I am. I mean, we're both animal lovers and we care for the weak and helpless.

I have a passion for the sick, the poor and the needy...let's face it, some of us are just very sensitive to suffering...whether it be animals or humans.

I'm like that. I hate what the insurgents have done. I hate what the radical Islamists have done. I'm not a pacifist...no way.

But I also have had some strange experiences spiritually lately. It seems that the more intensely I suffer in my body, the more I feel like I "taste" the tears of God.

That's sounds real melodramatic so I'll say that upfront. But it's true. Sorry. I feel hyper sensitive to the Lord's heart right now. I believe I feel His heartbeat.

When I saw the photos I felt the pain of HIS heart weeping.

God hates ALL evil...their's, ours, everyones. God didn't delight in killing off Pharoahs men in the sea. It hurt Him.

He doesn't delight when people perish for eternity...it breaks His holy heart...God is GOOD. He loves humanity...all of it.

He loves every single one of US...and every single one of THEM. I know that in my heart.

I am trying to understand God's position rather than our own limited understanding.

Notice...I said, "trying"...not necessarily doing...but trying. I've asked God to help me understand and grant me wisdom.

What He's shown me is His very intense love for these people.

What can I say, John. I'm torn in two. I love our people very much but I can't stand to see people treated like animals either.

I do not delight in wickedness but in good. I'm beside myself at this point. There's a whole lotta civilian Iraqis who are loving and good people but scared and distrustful.

I've seen things on tape that journalist have caught on film that would MELT your heart....I've seen an elderly Iraqi man kissing the hand of a soldier for giving the man food.

I've seen the smiles on the women's faces when soldiers would tossle their little ones around and play with them.

There's a great desire between our two nations to come together in love and friendship but Satan is taking the lowest common denominator of BOTH races in order to prevent that from happening.

I am sick at heart that we have people from our camp who are responsible for outrageous crimes against humanity and likewise ...I'm infuriated at some Iraqi insurgents who even use children as human shields during a gun battle.

I'm being honest when I say, I hate sin. I hate evil. I don't care WHO does it...I hate it...it makes me ill.
