I wanted to start a thread on this, though I wasn't quite sure where to start it... So, here it is!

First, I would like to state that I believe that some dreams are significant while others may just be dreams... I am not trying to "predict" anything or read into anything, just to hear what you all have experienced too.

Okay, last night I had a rapture dream. I use to have them all the time, but I haven't in quite awhile. The ones that I have had in the past (with the exception of one) have taken me all the way up to the rapture, then I would wake up.

This was like the many... I was on a bridge holding my youngest cat (Kaylie), and there were all sorts of people around. Under the bridge was a busy hwy. All of a sudden, I got "that feeling" that the rapture was about to happen. (I am not sure how to describe "that feeling", but those of you who have had similar dreams know what I mean.)

Then, I looked up (because I heard an odd sound) and I saw an F18 flying backwards. I was like... "What in the world?!" It flew from right to left. Then I noticed beyond a hill on the left side was jet black smoke... like an oil fire, rising.

At this time, I was thinking ... "Was that suppose to be the sign before the coming?"

Then, in a cloud of smoke before me (along with a voice) I saw (and heard) that, "Everything has been divided up according to each man's work, and they have been divided according to their tribes."

All I could think of, was in Revelation where it talks about the 144,000 (Jews) being sealed by God... 12,000 in each tribe.

Then I woke up.

I love hearing about rapture dreams, because they just remind me (emotionally) how close we are to going home. It is like a little boost of encouragement to keep going in rough times because our time here is short. Praise God for His ability to use all things for our good because we are called according to His purposes!!!

Please do share all of your dreams that have inspired or encouraged/uplifted you. They may just do the same for someone else. :D

Alison

Alison- I too have had a rapture dream and it was amazing!

I dreamed I was in a convience store with my husband and father-in-law and we were getting cokes. All of a sudden I look over to say something to my husband and they had disappeared! I started getting scared, because I knew that the rapture had just happened and I wondered why I was left behind. All of a sudden I started flying up into the sky and then I woke up. It seemed so real. I mean, I could actually feel the weightlessness. It was awesome! I wouldn't mind dreaming like that all the time! :D

Dreams.....

this is one of Gods ways of communicating with us...... but not the only way, adn not all dreams have meanings.....

some dreams are Prophetic, others are Warnings, some might be things of the past, others may be just fun dreams, where the mind is just cleaning house.... some can be uplifting, others can be consoling, there may even be dreams that comfort, and some that might even convict the person......

there have been many times i have had dreams.... most of which mean nothing, some I awoke with the meaning of the dream as soon as I woke, others I had only part of the meaning when i woke up and later ( days, weeks, months, and in a couple cases, years after the dream ) I receeived the meaning of the dream....

some times I have had dreams, and knew the meaning of it, and well, i missed the actual interpretation of it, even thou i was right, i was still wrong..... ( for instance, I was heading out to the Persian Gulf, and prior to departing, I had the understanding I was not coming back...... well, here I am...... this body came back, this mind came back, but this heart is not the same.... the person that left to go, is not the same person that arrived back in port, for there was a major change in my life during that 6 month deployment ).......

I do not claim to be Joseph, nor Daniel, no, not at all, my dreams have nothing to do with other people, ( other then those in my life that show up in a dream ).....

most of my dreams ( which i have several a night ) are just fun dreams....

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your responses Called and Mr&Mrs Mike Irish!

I had another dream last night. I can only remember part of it though. I saw the Big Ben tower in Great Britian, and all of a sudden, a helicopter crashed a car into the top of it. All sorts of people started to run out. The helicopter then just left the car there. Hmmm... odd.

I will be looking for more of your dreams!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
