That has been answered several times. The answer is no.

This is my answer, a little long and maybe I will be crucified for this, but this is what I believe:

Does a person have to believe that God exists as a three-in-one deity in order to be saved (i.e. to know Christ and to appropriate the benefits of his death, thereby being rescued from thier sins and delivered from the wrath of God)? YES! To put the question negatively, can a person be a Christian and not belive in the Trinity? The answer is NO. That is not to say that a person cannot become a Chrsitian without having explicit knowledge of the doctrine of God-as-Trinity. One may well be genuinely converted to Christ, begin a real relationship with God through the gospel, and be delivered from sins without having any understanding of the Trinity at all. The gospel is believing in the work of Christ on the cross by faith and repenting of sins and recieving the free grace of God by the Spirit. What I am saying is that no genuinely converted person will deny the doctrine of the Trinity. No real Christian will be able to, ultimately deny that God exists in 3 persons. The reason is that at the very heart of the doctrine of the Trinity lies the deity of Jesus Christ

Jesus said the purpose of the Holy Spirit was to guide his disciples in

One cannot be a Christion who refuses to believe that God is three-in-one.

What about someone who doesn't understand it?

They believe in Jesus be just don't understand the 3 in 1 concept?

Would that individual be considered not a christian?

No that's definetely not true. Like I said in my post:

You need to belive in all Three to be saved. Jesus can't stand alone or for that matter God or the Holy Spirit. There is a lot of ppl who don't understand the Trinity, but still believe in all Three of the Godhead. You don't have to understand it to be a truely converted christian, just believe

This is completely and utterly ridiculous and, I assume by reading it misguided.

#1 You can believe in the deity of Christ without believing in the Trinity.

#2 The Bible says you must confess Jesus Christ and believe that God raised Him from the dead to be saved. Adding anything else to that is condemning people God has not condemned.

#3 Belief or disbelief in any doctrine does not make you a christian or non-Christian. If it did, no one would be a christian. Do you know how many different opinions on different doctrines there are with in christianity. For every doctrine there is a opposite doctrine that many hold to. No one has it all figured out completely. If the Holy Spirit leads all christians into all truths and all christian will ultimately come to this truth. Why are there so many opposing doctrines and denominations within christianity?

Now let me ask you this, what if the Trinity is not the correct understanding of the Godhead? Does that mean you are not a Christian?

I'm not going to get into an arguement with you or anyone about this. I stated my believes and you stated yours.

As I respect your views, I also want respect for mine.

God bless

You need to belive in all Three to be saved.

Wouldn't simply putting all your faith in Christ be enough to cover that?

If you put all your faith in Christ, His teachings and what He did on the cross, I believe then you will also believe in God the Father and the Holy Spirit. And if you believe that you are truly a child of God. As I said you can't just believe in Jesus and not believe in God and the Holy Spirit, or believ just in Jesus and God and not the Holy Spirit. Understand what I mean?

What about the Mentally Handicapped and those who accept Christ one day and die the next?

I know what you're saying, but you also said this, "You need to believe in all Three to be saved", and I don't believe that to be true. If it were, then the ones I mentioned above would not be saved.

"You need to believe in all Three to be saved", would mean that a certain amount of knowledge is required before the gift of salvation is given to anyone.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the Word teaches that.

I don't believe we have all the answers. I also believe that the ppl who accept Christ one day and die the next will definetely go to heaven, because when they get saved, someone must've told them about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or how everything works. God is merciful and gracious and would not turn anyone away who seeks Him. For the mentally ill, that's another story. People who have the mind of a child will enter the kingdom of God, for they don't know the difference between right or wrong, just like a baby who dies after birth or a small child. The certain amount of knowledge you get is with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and a walk with Him. So when ppl die just after salvation, they did not have that change and God knows that all to well.

What I'm trying to say is that you get saved immediately when accepting Christ in your life and nothing can take that away, but it's would be wrong to say Jesus existed on His own without the Father or the Holy Spirit's presence, or that Jesus exist but not God, or God exist but there is no Holy Spirit. This would be contra the Word of God. That's what I meant by you need to believe in all Three Perons. As soon as you get saved, you receive the Holy Spirit. I hope you see where I'm going with this. Unfortunetely my english writing isn't of the best.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
