-I lost my career.

We went bankrupt.

Lost virtually all our major things like house, car, and stuff.

Left our church because they forgot that we should be looking to Jesus.

My health has declined to the point that I question sometimes if I can continue.

I have had 2 surgeries, and now it looks like I have more to come.

We have tried 25 different churches where we don't fit in.

I quit a labor job because of poor health, now my wife treats me like I'm a bum.

I don't even have one friend, not even my wife now.

I am literally broken and broken hearted.

Even sleep is denied me with 3 sleeping disorders.

My arm is going numb from a herniated disk.

My lower back hurts, my body aches, I'm tired, depressed, spent.

I'm 48 going on 80.

-7 hours though gives me hope, as many nights, 2 or 3 hours is all I get.

-uhhhhh??BA----I went thru this sleep thing too fer 5 years -I was blessed ta get two hours at a time for days--I couldn't walk more than 10 steps at a time--couldn't sit in a chair for very long at a time--& had to sit on one hip or the other could not sit flat or straight in a chair--STILL CAN'T---I would be up for 3 & 4 days & nights at a time --NO sleep at all---then when I was totally exhausted I would just Crash for maybe 4 to 6 hours--then it starts all over again---still does ever-now & then but not as often---

no-herniated disks just back surgery to remove bone spurs from my spine--then when the drs got thru cutting the bone spurs off they discovered I had NO tail-bone-IT had not formed--was not there-- now my doc calls me--uhhhh??-hmmm??-

-ahhhh-- well,,never mind-

-Then I had heart surgery to put 4 stints in the valves??after about 3 months I had a HEART-ATTACK---didn't have one before I had the stints put in --but the stints caused the heart-attack--one of the stints had been closed off by my great tissue growing ability---then they had to go back in & open the closed stint up with a balloon--ssssshhhheeeesssshhh--now then I had an attack of pancreantitis where only about 15% of my pancreas was working which landed me back in the hospital-

MY doc has a great sense of humor he said I almost french-fried my self ta death--

-hmmmm??lessee?--now-whut else?--oh yeah I have a HOLE in the bone of my left arm--NOreason why--NO answers on that one--I jest got a hole in an arm-bone--- I take blood-pressure pills--cholesterol -pills-anti-depressants--which I kept sayin for years I was NOT depressed--my wife & my Doc yes you are depressed --no I aint ---Yes you are --no--well, I finally gave in & said O.K. I'M depressed--Now I get ta take anti-depressant-pills---blood-thinners so of course I stay COLD--muscle-relaxers-to keep my muscles from cramping up--but they do ennyhow-ever-now & then----morphine-pain-pills fer chronic--pain----I was having migraine headaches just about twice a week for those 5 years--not as many now--but when I do get one I have ta go to the ER--get a shot of 100mgs.of demerol & 50mgs of finergan--demerol fer tha headache--finergan so I don't get sick from the demerol--

-uhhhhhh?? WeLLLLL, now--oh yeah when I bacame disabled in 1985 at age 40-

-& they determined at M.D.Anderson polio clinic that my brain may have been 40 but my body was jest about 106------

we had a 1979 ford welding rig--a king size bed -a 9inch tv{color--of course}some clothes--& thats about it--we were living on some land my mother had bought--a friend bought us two big round tents --sleeps 2 ta each tent--we had our clothes & a few other things in one tent put the king size bed up in the other one along with the 9inch tv & were sleeping in it---NO job--not able ta work--no money--uhhh??do enny of thys sound familiar to ya at all Bro.?? lets see--oh yeah I have SHRUNK two inches in height---wellll, Bro we need ta meet & we kinn discuss our prognoses-

diagnoses--ohhhhh I are also diabetic-haaaaa--maybe tamorry I kin ask Patsy what else is wrong with me & what other kind of pills I take & why??

-First time I went to Texas I got off a plane on the tarmac in the middle of July and thought they had taken me to hell by mistake - lol I had never felt humidity like that before, more like running into some kind of force field.

This may not sound like news to most - but Praise the Lord - I slept 8 hours last night! Still not the best sleep, but if this dental device can allow me to do that, and they have 3 more adjustments to make before it is really suppose to work - yeeee haaaaaa!

The things ya miss most in life are the things ya can't have - believe me, when you are deprived of sleep - ya really, really, want it. I FEEL LIKE FLYING with my own wings.
