The New Constitutional Convention

It has been a long time since I have been involved in this. There has been a standing call for a constitutional convention for 15 years or more for most of these states. I can not remember the foundational reasoning.

It has always been stated that if it occurs, then the convention would have cart blanche to rewrite our nations constitution to suit those at the convention and those in power. It has been fought against for as long as it has been fought for.

Sooner or later, it will happen and religious freedom and freedom of speech will be gone.

So, get out there and share the gospel as passionately as you can while you can and "hasten the coming of our LORD"

crack pots ,, aw let em talk they make ther money by ,, america may die ,, ill die with it ,, i mean do you realize how many hillbillys there are ? we dont go up to the city to talk ,,we vote and keep quiet,, most of us around here are ex milatary or our dads taught us how to hunt ect...i got a nine yr old daughter that can take the head off a squirrell at 50 yards with her .22 rifle ,, them city folks can pass all the changes they want to SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHATTTTTTTTT ,, we dont have to go by anything they pass or dont pass .. us hillbillys have an unwritten rule down here ,,, them citys crack pots can do what they want just stay outa here ,,we will ship them food just stay in the city do you truly believe i didnt carry a gun untill they passed the law that said i could??? that particular law just made it legal for us to do so (every one i know including the cops laughed at that law) yeah they are safe in there city habitat and if they think they are our god ok ,,,they can think it all they want but you can bet your behind that if the time ever comes they try to come out here and rule it will cost em 3 to every 1 city ppl kill me we dont care what they pass we dont put up with stupid stuff.. down here we dont have to lock our doors ,,, we dont have to worry about drive by shootings,,, and we dont dont worry about the government the government has tryed to stop moonshining since forever the govern ment is there own worst enemy oh they might get me but they wont stop us,,, A ROOSTER CROWS REAL LOUD ,,, BUT ITS STILL A CHICKEN... let em talk

If there is a Constitutional Convention, the entire thing can be re-written. We have never had one take place. We have gone through the normal amendment process, but we have never had a Constitutional Convention, and it would be a dissaster should one take place.

Actually there has been one such convention.....in 1787.

The Constitution cannot be rewritten...it can only be amended and a convention could only recommend amendments; these would have to be ratified by the states. See Article 5, U.S. Constitution.
