  1. Isaiah 43:18,19 - "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." God is resetting us in the present to create a new history under the guidance of God's Spirit. We can too easily drift away from God's purpose for our life and then stall. We have not been called to live in a static representation of Kingdom life. Just before each new season, God will reset our priorities to His original blueprint. He does this to get us moving once again, motivated by His original intent. After a reset, new opportunities will refocus our efforts. This refocusing will create simplicity, helping to highlight the things God has called each of us to do with regerds to laying down our self-life as we disciple other Believers into their Christ identity. It will require that we say no to some things currently on our plate and yes to things we had not considered before the refocusing took place. We are being reset to align our lives with a greater manifestation of God's Spirit as He invites us to partner with Him as world changers for the bringing forth of the Great Commission. You should praise when you have no feeling until you do have feeling. Then, continue praising so that a little feeling becomes much feeling. Victory does not lie in struggling with your flesh. It comes when you lower your head and praise the Lord, saying, "Lord, I praise Your way. What You have arranged for me can not be wrong. Whatever You do is perfect." Only then will your spirit rise above your problems, above your own inner feelings, and into victory. His hand is at your back and you feel His pushing you forward. All that is around you is to insure that you are not shifting. Do not partner with offense. He is enabling you to walk out a new level of wholeness and freedom in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; SHALL YOU NOT KNOW IT?" - Isaiah 43:18-19 You may be waiting for God to bring a big change in your life. You may be ready and have long been waiting for "something new. But usually, the hardest part about something new, is it may actually require something new in you, first. You may need an upgrade in your expectancy and way of looking at things. When breakthrough does arrive, it's time to build! --as if none of the hardship, none of that lack you've experienced ever existed. It's time to take that breakthrough and steward it forward with faith, resisting the timidity that would implore you to not move. Build with every ounce of breakthrough you receive with joyful expectancy that the God of the universe is backing you. You must keep striking the ground and not stop short of the many more and bigger breakthroughs that your current breakthrough will unlock -- for others and yourself. Keep moving forward, keep boldly building, and may your faith be big enough to receive and walk in all God has made available for TODAY! The enemy has used discouragement, strife, misunderstandings, envy, and numerous other tactics to try to impede what God is doing. However, the fire of opposition is only causing you to blaze even greater in your Christ calling to gain ground in advancing God's Kingdom -- bearing fruit that remains. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Christians cannot join a church. They are already part of the church. To join means that they are still outside. We are already in the church and are therefore already joined to one another. The church is so special that it can not be joined. The determining factor is whether one is born of God. If one is born of God, he is already in; if he is not born of God, there is no way to join. Whenever people walk in our midst, they should instantly sense the presence of God. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. It will cause them to fall down on their faces and worship God, declaring that God is indeed among us. The believer is the sign-board pointing toward Jesus -- the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and we must be bold in our confession that we are in the Way; that we have the Reality and are enjoying the fullness of this marvelous Life. The moment we receive Eternal Life, that moment we become under-shepherds of the flock: we become leaders and teachers of this New Order, this new Life. The Greek word translated power means ability, and that Jesus wanted the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they had received ability -- the Father's ability that Jesus had been manifesting among men. Now we, the under-shepherds, have His ability. We are partakers of that ability. Affirmation: I am a Faith Builder. I lead men out of the wilderness of sense knowledge into the highlands of our privileges in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Many Believers are in great need of the Lord of Breakthrough, but remember that before God broke through David's enemies, he returned to the stronghold and inquired of the Lord. "And David enquired of the Lord….And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them (the Philistines) there, and said, The Lord hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters." - 2 Samuel 5:19,20 RETURN TO THE STRONGHOLD Breakthrough is found in our private devotion and personal pursuit of God when no one is watching. If you are in need of breakthrough, make it a point to "return to the stronghold" and watch what the God of the Breakthrough does for you. When He breaks open, we break out. "The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them." - Micah 2:13 "Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you" (Zechariah 9:12). Jesus modeled this profound truth in His own life. We see in Luke 4:14 that His time of fasting in the wilderness produced great power as well as preparing and positioning Him for His next stage of life and ministry. Great miracles along with public demonstrations of tremendous power and authority were often preceded by significant time spent hidden away with His Father in secret. When we purpose to live a life of sacrificial devotion to our Father in the secret place through contemplative prayer and fasting, we and other Believers who God puts into our lives to disciple for Great Commisision service will become greater for it. This is one way that we can say "yes" to the ongoing pull of the Spirit in our daily life. "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in him." - Nahum 1:7 David found the God of the Breakthrough in the stronghold, not on the field of battle. He is our stronghold. It is in our returning to Him that He restores, breaks through, and gives back more than what we had lost and better than we had (more Believers to disciple than we had before). A DOOR OF GREAT HOPE "So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water." - Exodus 15:22 For many of us, we have experienced a wilderness while fulfilling our Christ calling. We feel lonely, barren, and unfruitful. We have been so dry and thirsty that we find ourselves crying out to God in desperation. Our life is in disorder, and at times we are confused and irritated. It is in times like these that we remember Jesus' admonition, "Abide In Me" - John 15:4 To abide in Christ is to abide in His love. His love is a supernatural love that transcends anything that we understand about love. As I am one with Christ, His love is always available to me and is necessary in bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom through my Christ calling. As you go throughout the day, see His love flowing into your heart and your heart is bathing in it. See it flowing back to Jesus and then again back to you. His love abiding in you will express itself in the intense desire to disciple others into a higher spiritual life in Christ. Make tthe determination to abide in Jesus' love wherever you are now or wherever you may be placed in the future. DELIVERANCE FROM OLD MINDSETS God has a purpose for our wilderness -- He does NOT plan for us to stay there! God brought the Israelites out of Egypt for the purpose of not only proving their hearts, but also to give them an opening to be DELIVERED FROM OLD THINKING. Many of us feel that we have been pulled into a place that at first we did not see as necessary in our apprehension of God's CALLING in our life. Truth be told, it is in this place that we are prepared to inherit and fully occupy the promises and God’s favor. For some of us, it may feel like a wilderness, but if we can embrace His pull we will begin to know and experience the Lord in a new way. It is in the "valley" of our troubles that He establishes a door of great hope (see Hosea 2:14-23) for bearing more fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom. Properly recognizing and engaging in the wilderness experience is as vitally important to our divine DESTINY as when the "walls came down" for Israel. There, we begin to see God and the treasures of His PURPOSE for our life in a way that we have never seen before. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Philippians 3:17 - "Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you." Pattern makers are visionary leaders who model and exemplify a lifestyle of Kingdom advancement with Christ, so that others are enabled and equipped into their Christ identity to follow suit. Pattern makers are MENTORS and SPIRITUAL MOTHERS and FATHERS to others. They are often pioneers who are breaking into new territory and doing things that might not have been done before. If we are to be Kingdom builders, we must embrace the simple truth that the willingness to DISCIPLE new believers are an essential aspect of being a FRUITFUL advancer of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). This aspect of the ascended life in will birth ongoing godly transformation in us AND THE ONES WE DISCIPLE to the glory of His name. We are built up as we meditate and visualize the love of Jesus flowing into our heart which stokes irresistible passion in our heart for the spiritual advancement of other Believers – that they will grow in faith and in maturity, to be equipped and sent out to carry on with discipling others, and to attain to the fullness of Christ (see Ephesians 4:12) By teaching (one on one), the Kingdom of God is not only established in grace, but also advances in the power of the Holy Spirit's revelation, wisdom and truth. Paul taught the twelve new disciples for two years in the lecture hall of Tyrannus, and we are told that both the Jews and the Greeks throughout the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord (Acts 19:10). For twenty-four long months, the Apostle Paul labored tirelessly to bring the word of the Lord to the believers he was discipling in preparation to minister and impact the surrounding community. He trained the young disciples into their Christ identity and laid a strong foundation upon which the glory could manifest in signs, wonders, and miracles. During this 24-month period of equipping, Paul prepared a team that could co-labor with him in the season of in-gathering for the harvest that was just around the corner. When He mobilizes us to a God-given task/assignment (discipleship of others), He releases the necessary grace, authority, power and wisdom to us to consolidate and implement vision and follow through to completion. Since we confess our oneness with Christ we are no longer living by our faith but rather the faith OF GOD. . Followers of Jesus in this hour will have God's faith in them that will gain ground for God’s Kingdom throughout the earth. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Be confident: you were born for this day. Don't delay: move forward in victory, taking your place as an overcomer, embracing fully the destiny of your calling in Christ. (see Ephesians 2:10). Truly, as stated in Esther 4:14, you are in the Kingdom for such a time as this. You can know for certain that the Kingdom is in you for such a day as this. Take your stand be a bold and brave beacon of God's love and light. "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14 NKJV) Be willing to go deeper than before, to yield more and more, to hearken to His voice and, like the wind, allow its empowerment. Heaven has found its home inside of you. You have the power because His power lives within you. Go and get yourself ready. Go when He opens wide the gate. Go and conquer. Go take the land (equip and send out Believers into an understanding of their Christ identity, right standing with God, and Walking in the Spirit so they will be effective in moving the Great Commission forward) -- Do it with all of your might. His strength is within you. Passionately pursue His Kingdom and life as the light of the world. Let your eye be single so you can fully shine. "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness." (Luke 11:34 KJV) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. We share in His new Life, ability, Wisdom, and Love, which translates to crucifying our self-agendas and displaying a passion to supply guidance to other Believers in their spiritual advancement -- the new Resurrection Life; the same wonderful Life that Jesus had. Today you are partaking of His Divine Nature, that as you yield to the inward Life of God in your spirit (your identity in Christ), you will slowly but surely gain the ascendency over your reasoning faculties until you mind becomes renewed through affirming and meditating on the Word, which is really the unveiling Mind of Christ. We have been translated into the kingdom of the Son of His Love, or in other words, into the very Family of God. We have become partakers of His Divine Nature. The same Life that was in the Son of God is in us. The same Light that He had is in us. Philippians 2:15 - "We are seen as lights in the world." We are the light of the world. We have taken Jesus' place. His Life in us is the source of Light. Light means Wisdom and ability to do things. He has actually come into us and lives in us and through us. We have been translated into the kingdom of the Son of His Love, or in other words, into the very Family of God. We have become partakers of His Divine Nature. The same Life that was in the Son of God is in us. The same Light that He had is in us. The believer is the sign-board pointing toward Jesus -- the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and we must be bold in our confession that we are in the Way; that we have the Reality and are enjoying the fullness of this marvelous Life in Him. The moment we receive Eternal Life, that moment we become under-shepherds of the flock: we become leaders and teachers of this New Order, this new Life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. "For he (Simon) was awestruck by the size of their catch…Jesus replied, "Don't be afraid! From now on you'll be fishing for the souls of men!" And as soon as they landed, they left everything and went with Him." - Luke 5:9-11 In one day, they abandoned their way of life and everything familiar to them to pursue Him and the DESTINY for which they were created. What had happened? What made the difference? When Peter was willing and obedient to do what the Lord asked, the harvest came to him (see Isaiah 1:19). In that moment his previous desires were replaced with a new desire. In this place of undivided devotion to Him, He captures our hearts and, like the disciples, we abandon everything to pursue Him wholeheartedly. It is in this place that we find Him (see Jeremiah 29:13). LEAVING THE SHORE Jesus' invitation to Peter is still being given to us today. Are you ready to leave the shore and become something more? "Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all your waves and billows have gone over me." - Psalm 42:7 Can you feel the depth of God's heart CALLING to you in this season? Can you feel the depth of your spirit desiring Him more than your next breath? Launch out and launch into Him. It is in this place that your wilderness becomes a fruitful field. NOT THE TIME TO BE COMPLACENT "For the land of my people growing over with thorns and briers…..Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field and the fruitful field is valued as a forest." - Isaiah 32:13,15 Isaiah was addressing a people who did not recognize the season in which they were living -- through complacency, they lacked the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and the heart to perceive what the Lord was asking of them. Their complacency to act and failure to discern the Lord's voice was leading them to a place of lack, disappointment, and despair if they did not recognize their invitation and adjust accordingly. We must also not be like the Shulamite who was not willing to respond to the voice of her beloved in the day of her visitation (see Song of Solomon 5:2-8). She responded to the very invitation that she had so longed for with a list of reasons why His coming wasn't convenient for her. In verse 6 she looked back with regret, recognizing how her heart leapt within her at the sound of His voice. Let us not look back with regret, but instead do whatever we can to meet with Him when He comes knocking. Her complacency cost her the visitation that she had so desired. When He knocks, we must open! PARTNERING WITH THE PROMISE We have a responsibility in receiving what we believe for. The Lord gave a promise of power to 500 of His disciples (Luke 24:49, 1 Corinthians 15:6) but only 120 (Acts 1:15) were committed to partner with the Promise "until" they received power from on high. For 380 of the 500 -- at what point did the "Promise" become inconvenient? If we were able to interview those 380 today, there would be a number of folks echoing the same regret as the Shulamite. If they could have only discerned how close they were to the Promise knocking at their door. We are standing at a place in history, poised to see the greatest wave of God's Spirit to ever come upon the earth. He is knocking and He is calling, in this season of ebb, to those who will open the door and launch out as we dine with Him in the deep. If we will make it our highest goal to come to understand our Christ calling so we can begin bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom -- we, like Jesus, will come out with power greater than we have ever known (see Luke 4:14). Let's join Jesus in becoming the water (the Word) breathed upon by His wind (Holy Spirit) that we might, with Him, become the wave that changes the way people think about Jesus and their role in the Great Commission. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. Christ Jesus declares without Him we can accomplish absolutely nothing (see John 15:5). However, with Christ and through Christ we can achieve all things (see Philippians 4:13). "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." - John 14:12 Christ Jesus has set the bar extremely high, and we are called and commissioned to do the works that He did as well as even greater works. Many in the Church are tired of business as usual, and they are not going to settle for mere talk. Paul states this very clearly: "For the Kingdom of God is not based on talk but on power." 1 Corinthians 4:20 (AMP) The Holy Spirit is truly anointing the Body of Christ in an unprecedented manner in these days to give them passion for bearing fruit that remains to advance His Kingdom throughout the earth. The Church is discovering that the gifts of the Spirit are tools, not toys. Believers are realizing that they cannot fulfill their role in the purposes of God unless they come to understand their Christ identity, right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Once assimilated, they can now disciple other Christians in the same teachings, thereby moving the Great Commission forward. (Matthew 29:18) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. Just as truly as Jesus came out from the Father, so we have come out from God through the energy of the Spirit. We are reborn of God. In 1 John 4:4 we read, "Ye are of God my little children." We were in slavery and servants of the adversary. We are now the joyful Love Slaves of Jesus. We are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, and we are coming into understanding of our Christ identity, our right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit and God's purpose for our life. Sin-consciousness has robbed us in the past of our faith; robbed us of worthiness; robbed us of our joy of Sonship. We are complete in Christ -- we are the righteousness of God in Christ. Satan can't stand to watch our faith in God manifest into our breakthrough. He sees it as a great failure. He is determined to strike at the heart of our belief and pour out discouragement. Disillusioned by the lies of the enemy, we tend to lose faith in God and soon feel crushed under the weight of Earth's reality. We are on the earth, but we are not of it. Our citizenship is in heaven. We are no longer a part of this satan-ruled world. We are born from above. We have the Nature and the Life of the Father -- We are in Christ. We have become like those whose eyes had been blinded but now have received light, and we see things as they really are. We know what Grace has been bestowed upon us. We are walking in the light of this wonderful purpose-filled Life in Christ, bearing fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. In this season, God is giving out new "out of the box" ways of doing things. Don't get set in "your" ways, but learn to embrace His ways. What does this really mean? It means not to think as the world thinks. Do not accept what the world calls normal. We need a fresh Gospel mentality that is willing to walk away from the things that hinder bringing forth the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." It really comes down to the question of "What are we here for?" Are we storing up treasure in Heaven, or are we looking for our reward on earth? Are we still trying to be somebody when Jesus is saying, "Come, follow Me"? Are we willing to die to our self-agendas and give our lives for the spiritual discipling of other Believers so they can be equipped and sent out to advance His Kingdom? He lifts the heavy burden, bringing us into a place of ecstatic joy, life, and peace. The Gospel is still good news. Do we still feel it in our heart? A TIME FOR HEAVEN'S STRATEGIES Going back 100 years to 1925 and taking the number of born-again Christians in the earth and dividing them by the earth's population in 1925, you get a number. If you take the number of born-again Christians TODAY and divide them by the earth's population today, you get a number. Comparing the two numbers, which do you think would be higher? Anyone who follows trends in Christianity would have to admit that the 1925 number would be higher. Conculusion: God's Kingdom in the earth with respect to the earth's population is not advancing -- The Great Commission is not being brought forth. Christianity as we know it today is failing. We are in a time where God wants to release new strategies to us that go against the typical trend. There are ways of doing things that work. Being in a religious rut causes you to do the same things over and over again with the same result, never learning to move into something new, fresh, and different. Those caught in a religious trap are afraid of adventure, new things, different approaches, and will hold others back so that they won't feel so bad. Misery loves company. One of the main characteristics of fear is control. People in fear have to control to keep things safe for themselves. They will take things into their own hands rather than trusting the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." When we learn to trust the Lord, we then get a new and fresh perspective on things. It is like you had been in a box. As you learn to trust the Lord, you climb out of that box, seeing sunlight with the blue sky rather than darkness in the box. This is the way it works when we see as God sees. He has blueprints for each of us that will release life, making us contagious with His love (flowing through our heart into the lives of others), presence, and CALLING. Ask the Lord to get you out of the old place and into your God-given Christ calling so you can begin to bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. Question your own present-day thinking if you have been living your life with no divine vision propelling you into heavenly adventure. Then, ask yourself -- what are you willing to lay down for a consecrated life that will change the world around you and inspire others to their Christ-inspired DESTINY? THE "YES" HARMONY EXPERIENCE 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 - " For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." As we come into harmony with His purpose for our life, He brings us into a revelation of how we are to bear Kingdom fruit that remains (John 15:16). Jesus received the affirming voice of God, not only because He was God's Son, but because He was walking according to God’s purpose for His life. There is a place of precision and excellence where His affirming voice is made even clearer to us. This comes as we come into alignment with advancing His Kingdom in the earth, thereby displacing the kingdom of darkness. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Once you jump, He will open doors that you cannot even fathom! Take the plunge into the ascended life in Christ, replacing the self-absorbed life with a passion to disciple others into understanding their Christ identity. Your obedience in this consecration will make room for you and open doors that only He could open! No one will be able to stop the momentum that your compliance will create! No one will be able to stop the flow of living waters that will flow to and from your belly into the others you are equipping for Kingdom service.! Wherever your foot shall rest, there will be a blooming of life! No more barren places! The dead bones will come to life as your steps will be prophetic declarations upon the earth! The very ground you touch will come to life as you walk in your calling and destiny! Do not focus and dwell on your difficulties, no matter how painful this may be to your flesh (Isaiah 26:3). God is inviting you to turn your eyes upon Jesus and away from your natural, earthly challenges because He has brand new frontiers of the Spirit for you to explore and higher mountains of faith and glory to climb as you advance in your Christ calling. We have been smeared and rubbed with the oil of the Holy Spirit, consecrated to the office of royal priest and king, to serve our Lord God! Believe this promise and begin to act on the unction that has already been given to you to bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom and move as you move forward in your Christ calling, bringing forth the Great Commission. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Acts 3:1 - "Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer." Peter and John were at the Gate Beautiful when they encountered a lame man begging alms. Rather than giving him earthly riches to meet a temporal need, which would have left him in a survival state, Peter and John met his need that money couldn't buy and released healing to him through the power of Jesus' name. His survival status shifted to a man who carried revival as he leaped to his feet and praised God. This is a picture of how miracles for individuals can be used to raise the spiritual consciousness of the NOW comatose Church. Believers have been lame, dysfunctional or limited in hope or vision of their usefulness in God's Kingdom because they do not understand Jesus' mandate for all born-again Believers of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). Being discipled into their Christ identity, their right standing with God, and walking in the Sprit will cause an inactive, incapacitated, weak and limited Church to become world changers as they equip and send out others to disciple new Believers so they will be effective in moving forward the Great Commission. Deuteronomy 31:6 - "So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Choosing to be open to exposure will require that you look at things differently and pay attention to life again. New experiences, new knowledge, and new environments can completely change your approach to life. Anxiety, restlessness, excitement, and insecurity -- these feelings are the price of exposure. The fact that God has exposed you to something is always a sign that it can be yours. God is exposing you so you can absorb Destiny in the deepest part of your soul. Breathe in and believe, and let God open the doors of Destiny through exposure. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. "Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of Thy waterspouts: all Thy waves and Thy billows are gone over me." - Psalm 42:7 "Deep calls." Our Lord is a seeking God who desires a satisfaction that can be found only in us – our worship and our times of fellowship with Him. We were created for this purpose, which became marred by our association with the world. "The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him." - Exodus 15:2 If we will be patient and not become discouraged, we will be immersed in His presence – "all Your waves are gone over me." Now, we walk in the Spirit.. Others will notice the change in us and ask: "Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved?… " - Song of Solomon 8:5 "Deep calls." -- In order to rightly respond, we must become spiritually hungry. LET OUR PRAYER BE "DRAW ME" "Draw me, we will run after Thee: the King hath brought me into His chambers… " - Song of Solomon 1:4 This prayer, "Draw me," relates to our spiritual hunger. It is the most important request that we could ever set before the Lord. If we do not have this spiritual hunger, our interests will settle upon earthly pursuits, and we will seek satisfaction in them alone. Ministry can feed hunger, but only the Lord can create spiritual hunger. This prayer for us to become spiritually hungry will be effective only after we commit ourselves to rightly respond to the Lord – "We will run after You." The written Word is to become a present reality, and experienced. Thus, we must determine that we will steadfastly seek a closer relationship to the Lord. When He responds to our prayer and begins to draw us to Himself, all of our other needs will fall into their proper place and order, as we hunger for understanding of His CALLING on our life. "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. " - Matthew 6:33 The greatest privilege and blessing that we can have is for the Lord to become active in our spiritual life experience and begin to progressively guide us toward our His purpose for our life so we can bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. THE DEEP CRY OF THE LORD "My Beloved is mine… " - Song of Solomon 2:16 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 Therefore, He begins by revealing to us our present condition and spiritual need to know our calling in Christ. After He has accomplished the needed deliverance and correction within us, we will begin to seek to understand our oneness with Christ (John 17:21). "Do not look on me, that I am black, that the sun has looked on me. My mother's sons were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my vineyard I have not kept." - Song of Solomon 1:6 We realize that we have worked very hard "for" the Lord, even in the heat of the day, so that we have become "sun burned." But we have ignored the "deep" cry of the Lord, and have neglected to ask, knock, and seek (Matthew 7:7) until we understand and begin to implement our Christ calling in His kingdom (vineyard). Therefore, He allows our circumstances to become a problem to us, which will result in "our mother's sons" (those we are close to) becoming angry with us. All of the things that we had depended on have suddenly become an enemy. Now we realize that we must have the Lord Himself, and we cry out for satisfaction. FEED MY SHEEP "If you know not, most beautiful among women, go in the footsteps of the flock, and feed your kids beside the shepherds' tents" (Song of Solomon 1:8). The Lord is telling us that we should feed the sheep he has put in our lives ("feed your kids"). Without the mentorship of someone who has an active, personal relationship with Him, the spiritual path into their Christ identity, understanding of their right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit can be obscure to "baby Christians". The main purpose of discipling them is to equip and send them out so they disciple others so that the Great Commission is moving forward. "He saith unto him, 'Feed my sheep.' He saith unto him the third time….'Feed my sheep.'" - John 21:16,17 "THERE I WILL GIVE YOU MY LOVES" Now, there is a complete change in my expression, as passion to advance His Kingdom becomes the goal that I seek. "I am my Beloved's and His desire is toward me." - Song of Solomon 7:10 I have come from a salvation experience in which I had been satisfied to escape from eternal punishment, into a relationship in which my life is sold out to Jesus and His PURPOSE for my life. As I long for His fellowship, He can say to me: "Come, My beloved, let us go out into the field; let us stay in the villages. Let us rise up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flowers, whether the tender grape appears, and the pomegranates bud forth; there I will give you My loves" (Song of Solomon 7:11-12). We will be sent only after we have first come to Him. Now, as we commune together in the vineyard, we will find all that we have longed for (co-laboring with Him in our CALLING) , as we respond to the "deep" cry of the Lord – "There I will give you My loves," as we work with Him to bear Kingdom fruit that remains. 15. He is calling us to lay aside every idol and everything that has separated us from deeper communion with His presence. He is calling us, once and for all, to break free from the spirit of religion and to step into the deep with Him. He is calling you to step into true Kingdom power and dominion to see the glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). Now is the time for the spirit of religion to be gone, and for the sleeping Bride to arise to face her finest hour. You get ready to move with Him and watch to see what He has brought in your path to move with. Get ready, because HE will move you, HE will accelerate you, and He will get you to your new place. But it won't be because you control the way!" He is freshly revitalizing your heart in this season that has grown hard as a result of spiritual warfare, false accusations, hope deferred and the cares of life. Come to Him and allow Him to prune and purge what is stunting your growth. Allow Him to make room for your Christ calling to super bloom! Everything He has planned for you to accomplish is strictly related to your calling and your identity in Him. Only by walking out the path He has set before you will you then be able to become who you are meant to be. Life is one long and painful metamorphosis; the more we fight it, the more painful it becomes. And some Believers don’t even get to become butterflies -- they live and die as caterpillars, never accomplishing their destiny in Christ! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
