    May I ask how you know v23 is speaking of an age in the past? Could v23 be describing the earth immediately after the flood while the sky was filled with clouds.

    This is not meant to dispute it IS A Question from some one not as knowledgeable as you. His only begotten son I thought it meant begotten of woman on earth ( which does not exclude him from eternal life just means born of woman? help please

    I worked at a walmart once and I had to spend 80 hours on a computer reading the rules and guidelines and taking test on them and retest if I failed a part. then once hired the department supervisors would not go by those rules and guidelines I was tested on; they changed things to what they thought was better than what I had been tested on so I quit.

    When I read it I knew it was not part of the Bible. I would not tell anyone to put it above the Bible. But I did get some understanding out of it the Bible did not share.

    Oh I am well aware it is not part of the cannon and is NOT scripture. That alone does not make say it can not be read. It is not scripture but it can be read as a book. That is what my post said. thanks though for watching out for me.

    if the book is so terrible it can not be read; with the knowledge its not cannon; why was he taken up before death. seems someone that wrote something that bad would not make it to heaven let alone be spared death on earth so just like your take on that.

    I know very little so hope to learn from the others. My thoughts; we know in heaven many things that happened on earth will be wiped from our minds. we know it is most beautiful, peaceful no sorrow, we will all have something to do. where; far enough away than man will never find it with his flying video cameras. what; a spiritual plain not like a planet.

    I let my stand be known, which excludes from things me at times. this world lives in a very wide gray area with very thin lines of black and white and mine is more black and white very little gray area. The bible says a little leavan leaven's the whole lump. the more gray area a person lives by means they are open to things Christians should avoid. the gray area is the leaven of this world.
