  1. Not to mention real life experiences. Yep, and by your own words.. "racism defined is thinking one color human is better or superior than another color." That is taught behavior. I guess it is. i was surely taught the wrong way and it took tl about 30 or 35 to see what i was doing wrong with skin color.

  3. racism defined is thinking one color human is better or superior than another color. It has nothing to do with historical facts the federal govenment collects on races. I do not disike people due to their color, i wait til i know the kind of person they are before i make them a friend or make a point to avoid them. I know blacks, indian, chinese, japanese and whites that are friends and I trust them in my house and the same colors have people I do not trust in my house. p.s. God may have started with one race ( if adam and eve were the same color )but God has made people of different color add the human factor and a few thousand years later and people do not get along very well. I do not believe it has as much to do with skin color as it does with if a person is good or bad.
  4. New Century Foundation The Color of Crime Summary The Color of Crime, a New Century Foundation study based on federal crime reports, has found significant differences in violent crime rates for different racial and ethnic groups. Blacks, for example, are many times more likely to commit crimes of violence against whites than vice versa. Of the approximately 1,700,000 interracial violent crimes involving blacks and whites reported every year, blacks commit 90 percent and whites commit only ten percent. Blacks are therefore more than 50 times more likely than whites to commit interracial crimes of violence. The differences are even greater for multiple-offender interracial crimes, with blacks 100 to 250 times more likely to be involved in gang attacks on whites than the reverse. Some people may argue that blacks attack whites because they expect them to be carrying cash or valuables. However, fewer than 20 percent of black attacks on whites are robberies; rape and assault do not usually have economic motives. There is more black-on-white violent crime than black-on-black violent crime. When blacks commit violence they attack whites 50 to 55 percent of the time. When whites commit violence they attack blacks only two to three percent of the time. Hate crimes are thought to be the most serious acts of interracial crime, but there were only 9,861 reported in 1997. Of these, 6,981 were race-related and 4,105 were violent. This very small number of crimes receives a disproportionate amount of attention, but it is likely that the millions of ordinary interracial crimes–90 percent of which are committed by blacks against whites–are more damaging to race relations. Although white-on-black hate crimes receive a great deal of attention, blacks are approximately twice as likely to commit hate crimes as whites. Hispanics are considered a victim category for hate crimes but not a perpetrator category. A Mexican who is attacked because of ethnicity is recorded as Hispanic, but if the same Mexican attacks a black or white for racial reasons he is considered white. This inflates the figures for “white” hate crime perpetrators, and gives the impression that Hispanics commit no hate crimes. is it racist to post actual federal crime reports?
  5. I look at the problems of our nation a little different, I agree color should not be a stumbling block but features, experiences and ethics do separate races and even people of same color. And even though I was raised in a racist enviroment I do not believe I am now. After reading the other post here Im sure I would be considered racist if I continue this post. 2nd Thess 3: 10 - 24 has a special meaning to me. Bill, in the above quote you say different regions adapted differently by that do you mean some turned white some turned black and some do get face and chest hair and some do not get face and chest hair some eyes are shaped different all because of the region they live in I would like to ask you about this verse. Rom 6: 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. would a saved person be a racist if they kept this verse? Say a saved black person avoided a white unsaved neighbor; would they be racist

  8. Most of what was quoted in the article was from old testament jewish law which we are not under. and in the quote from 1st Corin they gave v 13,14,15 and stopped short of giving v 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
  9. I spent two years in the merchant marines and have seen this mess in many waters. Out on the ocean no one can see what others do to harm this earth. The sad thing is it is happening on and too and the punishment in most cases is so mall $ 50 in parts of Fla. Up north in some states in in the thosands for littering. Our kids re not being taught to NOT be litter bugs, all you need or proof is spend lunch at a school and see the kids throw stuff at a can instead of in it and teachers say nothing, custodians say nothing, Principals, deans they all allow it on school grounds.Back to the merchant marines for a moment we were one ship and we dumped ( unseen harm ) 10 gallons of used oil overboard every day for two straight years. How many ships do you think are doing that every day. i can say on the ship i spent 2 years on we did not dump plastic over board.
  10. Within the community of Israel and the jewish people, that is a legitimate debate and I don't wish to interfere. Outside of that, anti-zionist is a euphemism for those who want the "final solution" imposed on the jews. Yod, that is simply not true. I am a Christian and I am anti-zionism. I certainly am not anti-semitic. I recognize jews as the chosen people and pray for their salvation. I wish no harm on anyone. But, I agree with the jews who do not support zionism. How can you say you pray for their salvation while denying them a homeland? No, I maintain that there is no reasonable argument against jewish people living in Israel. The ultra-religious who are against zionism believe that God must be the one who establishes the nation in accordance with all unfulfilled messianic prophecy. Since I believe God is sovereign, then He allowed the circumstances which got us to today, and the fulfillment of messianic prophecy will follow. But outside of that inter-familial squabble, those who deny the jews access to the land THEY bought and THEY reclaimed from swamps and desert wasteland that no one else wanted, are not interested in the welfare of jews or their claim to an ancient homeland. There are various reasons they may state, but it's unreasonable for anyone to say that Jews should not be allowed to live safely in Israel. PERIOD. I never said jews did not have a right to live in Zion. Jews were living in Zion before the nation-state of Israel was established. Some of the Jews living in Zion previously were some of the main opponents of zionism. I have no wish to get into a heated debate. We are all entitled to our point of view. Anyone who wishes to further investigate may google "jews against zionism." I happen to agree with the Jews who feel this way. Funny how agreeing with orthodox jews makes one anti-semitic. Quote from katyAnn (Jews were living in Zion before the nation-state of Israel was established.) Impossible The names Israel, Israeli or Jewish refer to people of the same origin. Gen 35: 10 Thy name is Jacob, thy name shall not be Jacob anymore but shall be Israel. Jacob led Israel into Egypt during the famine. Gen 46:2 And God spake to Israel in visions of the night and said Jacob Jacob and he said here am I. Gen 46: 3 And he said I am God, the God of thy father; fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make the a great nation. Exo 1:1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.
  11. Psa 47: 1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O CLAP your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. im am not for clapping while a sermon in in progress. I think it is ok to clap if some one sings a solo or duet. I think it is ok to say amen even during a sermon.
  12. This is a great post I see only one thing I would question but wont because you said stay away from the subtopics.
  13. I found it very interesting how he related the idea of God making a covering for everything. LT I thought that how he related God to the garden is what made it so good.

  21. Mizzdy I am sorry. i may not have made my stand very clear; i will try again. All things are given unto Jesus and He is the only gate, door, path to eternal life. Jews who do not accept Jesus as savior will go through the trib. Gentiles who do not accept Jesus as savior will go through the trib. I think that many who sit in those chuch pews will indeed go through the trib and even the wrath. It is Gods fire that purifies and cleanses. your above statement we agree on. A lot of people who claim to be christian that are ( luke warm ) will go through the trib. I understand who Yeshua is, I accept Him as my Savior and coming King, hm but I keep His feasts days, His Sabbaths and well I actually keep some of those commandments that apply to me, does that make you think that I am under some horrible thing and I will have to be punished for doing so? If you accept Jesus as your savior you are saved in my opinion. My opinion is also it is ok for you as a gentile to keep some of those things you like from the old testament or from the old covenant as a follower of Jesus you are not required to. Those who are under the law are those who have not accept Yeshua as their Savior, they are subject to its penalties including the final death sentence which is the sentence on those who do not accept Yah nor His Son. We are only 'saved' by His blood. again Jesus Christ is the only way into heaven in my opinion. a person must believe in Father, Son, holy Spirit. ( Godhead ) And your wrong not all those 613 laws applied to everyone, some are for animals and sacrifices, some are for men, some for woman so how can we be required to keep them all? Gal 5: 2-4 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. v2 not accepted Jesus v3 Jews not accepted Jesus must do whole law. v4 Must accept Jesus as savior You also forget about the Spirit of the law, this is how we are to walk in His instructions, the Spirit will lead you into them, its never an all at once thing with Yah you know He brings us along at our pace what we can handle and do. Luke 16 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. Rom4 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Gal 3 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
  22. Neb thanks for the help but it does not work as good as before the new skin. I liked the being able to go to my content and clicking on a thread and going to my last post in the thread no matter what page it was on, which I have lost that function.
  23. One thing i noticed is before; if say I post on page 3 of a thread and come back a couple days later and there are now 10 pages. If i went to my content and clicked on the thread it would take me to page 3 where i posted and i could start from there. It does not do that anymore now when i click my content and click a thread i posted in it goes to the first page of the thread. Im not really liking that to much.maybe a fix is in the works i hope
  24. Deu 19 11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: 12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. 13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
