I just wanted to share this true story with you (It's sad, but awesome) For those of you who heard about the tragic shooting at the Aurora theater in Colorado, this is an example of a true hero: Jon Blunk shielded his girlfriend Jansen Young from the shooter. As James Holmes (the shooter) progressed toward her laughing and with the gun pointing at her, Jon pushed her under a seat and shielded her with his body. She lived, but he died in the process of protecting her. I really like true heroic stories like this. Thoughts?

So, I'm going to turn 19 this February. Even though I'm over the age of 16, I finally have a late interest in driving. Is it too late for me to learn how to drive? I really want to learn now, and I didn't think about it when I was 16. I'm getting tired of being driven around. Can you pray that I can have courage to practice driving? My main concern is, the people at the driving tests will probably think I'm weird for taking a driving test at 19 years old. I figured it's time to learn. Thoughts?

Being a true Christian means having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's not just about how many Bible verses you can read or how many good deeds you do.

Agreed. Basically those who blasphemy The Holy Spirit and like doing it, or who don't want anything to do with God (if they don't repent, into the fire they go.)

Merry Christmas everyone . Let's remember the best gift of all this season is God himself, and of course, family.

I was wondering the other day... and forgive me if I rant here, but: Why didn't God choose animals as his chosen ones? I think it's harder for animal people like me to accept the fact that we still have authority over them. I like people and my family but it's some people who hurt animals and then little or nothing gets done about it. I love God but I wish animals were just as equal as us. If God truly wants me to like people more, then I can't argue. It's just.., hard because I like animals. Also, another question: Why don't animals have souls? or talk? Did they used to talk and then they were taken that away because of the fall of man?

I pray that those in Hollywood who don't know or love God will before it's too late. I know their are some christisn celebs, it just seems like most of Hollywood doesn't., I'll pray for them. Silly question here, but does God love celebrities?

Actually, not to be rude here, but I think it's more faith vs evolution. Some people believe in evolution (which I know is false) meaning that fish or stars made the world and not God. I believe more in the Creation. Actually, believing in evolution is stupid to me because Withiut God the two things I mentioned wouldn't exist.

okay. I listen to some Christian music already, and it's great. So, I'll stick with those instead. Since I've found my answer, can someone close this topic?

I agree. This world is too diverse for it too have been made by evolution. I know God created it, because of all of the people and cultures, landscapes, and nature. I'm proud to believe in the Creation! How can there not be a God, especially when I watch Animal Planet. He made animals to be really amazing.

Like I said, I rarely listen to those types of songs anymore. So I just listen to songs that are fun, but without sultriness in them. Thanks for your advice, and for the verses.

Lately, I've been thinking about this. As a Christian, in the past I've loved dancing to sultry pop and hip hop sings with my friends, and sometimes I like to listen to them at home. I was just wondering if God minded if I listened. I don't really get influenced by them, in my head I'm thinking about God and not necessarily the messages portrayed. I don't listen to them that often anymore, anyway, so I doubt I could do those things. The beats are fun and I just remind myself to have fun without wanting to go out and drink, go to bars, or the like.

I love Jesus because he first loved me. He didn't have to die on the cross for all of us, but because of his grace, he did anyway. I hope that I can become even closer to him, and I thank him always for his blessings.
