Idolaty is so common among people, there are many warnings against it in the Bible. (and it is practiced all around us daily.) "Little children, keep yourselves from idols", and so on (find more later). Want to "do better?" .... go spend a few weeks (prayerfully with the Bible also)> READING WORTHYCHRISTIANLIBRARY dot com--- spend lots of time to read good proven tested Biblical lessons without any argument , no dissension and no squabbling, and no idolatry / no false teachings / mixed in like on the forums.

I think He does not "take it back" so much as some (maybe multitudes) trample it underfoot (throw it away) while they have the free will (ability to chose to condemn themselves) to do what they want to do (ie. before they die) instead of remaining with Jesus (like a lot of His Own disciples who decided by their own choice to leave Jesus, to walk away because they did not like what He said, after they had been taught by Him for some time) ....

Yet remember also He shows mercy on those He chooses to show mercy to, and ....... Romans 9:18 Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have ... https://biblehub.com/romans/9-18.htm So then, He shows mercy to those He wants to, and He hardens those He wants to harden. International Standard Version Therefore, God has mercy on whomever he chooses, and he hardens the heart of whomever he chooses. NET Bible So then, God has mercy on whom he chooses to have mercy, and he hardens whom he chooses to harden. New Heart English Bible

The world will continue as written until Jesus returns: The wicked become more wicked; the righteous become more righteous. The internet is wide open to perpetrators, wilful sinners, pagan nations, heathen customs, ungodly desires...... It is like a jungle out there, with frequent (daily ) traps laid for everyone.

Truth is not relative. Jesus is Truth. Unchanged, unchanging, unchangeable truth. Most people visiting and joining and posting on internet sites start on the enemy's side and stay there. The "welcome mat" is laid out for the whole world, with or without faith, and since most of the world is without faith, thus also most of the internet pages are without faith also. This won't change until Jesus returns (likely no internet then, we can hope anyway). The "myriad of opinions" is quite 'normal' in the world, and is welcome by the world, which seeks to keep it that way. The world rejects Jesus, rejects truth. If someone wants to find the truth, they must seek the truth, and keep seeking the truth, and they will find it, but they will not find the truth where it is not. Perhaps a pearl might be found in the overgrown yard.... most of the yard will still remain unhelpful.

From the activities between 1902 and 1950, people in general were not reverential nor turning to God for help, except for a few. The wars, industry, corporations, drug manufacturers, bankers, oil industry, education, television all neglected doing what is right, and TAUGHT CHILDREN as well as adults TO DO what is sinful and wrong and harmful. As written in Galatians, all society is death-dealing, is still true today, until Jesus returns.

Number 1 is true. You absolutely without any doubt not only have the wrong guy, but the wrong list! Epic fail I think they call it, starting with a false premise. Just to sell books....... ? tch tch ...... and thus leading more people off on a false trail..... That's a no-no.

Want to hear a solid street Preacher, then tune in live
simplejeff replied to warrior12's topic in General Discussion
Did you ever meet anyone saved by any preacher? Ever saved by the internet ? (so far, in twenty years, no one has come forward nor has anyone said that they know of even one person saved by the internet).... Noah preached 100 years while he built the ark. No one repented, not one. God calls Noah RIGHTEOUS. FAITHFUL. TRUE. Noah spoke the truth, and lived a faithful life over 100 years. The only ones saved were him, his wife, his three sons and their wives. Today, how many men speak the truth at all ? For twenty years ? Forty ? Fifty years ? Many false teachers went on for that long, especially on tv and in internet media, and fake revivals for decades..... (many of them liked and followed by many visitors to the internet forums)........ A lot of fake charities are being run for the last 100 years. In a few places, perhaps a true ministry can be found? -
For some of those who believe they will one day be saved out of this world: be sober , be vigilant, today do what is right...... there might be no tomorrow..... Luke 12:19-21 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) 19 Then I’ll say to myself, “You’re a lucky man! You have a big supply of goods laid up that will last many years. Start taking it easy! Eat! Drink! Enjoy yourself!”’ 20 But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night you will die! And the things you prepared — whose will they be?’ 21 That’s how it is with anyone who stores up wealth for himself without being rich toward God.” Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) Copyright © 1998 by David H. That comes across just like someone saying: I'm not married yet, but thinking about getting a wife soon, then maybe a different wife if that one doesn't work out..... as both adultery and tattoos are forbidden by Yahuweh(God).

Amen. Not only not all, but few ever lived the life, as Jesus says in the Bible. How many "Churches" are known by unbelievers /neighbors/ co-workers in the city they are in as walking in the light ? How many are known(without a word spoken, but by their totally changed lives) as "they were with God", by people observing them ?

The Gospel of Jesus for Eternal Life is not 'practical' by earthly standards - it is foolishness. I don't see those you mention sharing anything good with anyone, only trying to impress others or doing it for "show".

Exhortations And Closing Greetings

https://biblehub.com/kjv/2_thessalonians/3.htm "For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. 13But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. 14And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother." -
Did not the Scribes and the Pharisees "imitate" righteousness ? Test every aspect of any book - the roman group came out with millions of "imitations"/ counterfeits. Be wary.

At times it may be the Koreans, the Chinese, or the Russians, if not the CIA, copying your hard drive, and everyone's threads and posts on all the sites.

It doesn't just seem that way. It has been that way 'forever'...... they will continue to disagree, and most necessarily are wrong. Asking on an open forum will likely get 50 different answers, most of which , if not all, must be wrong, and all will be disagreeing with others, probably.

I have a question!! Showering / Bathing
simplejeff replied to BrandonRTyler's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
Jesus said to wash a travelers/visitors feet BECAUSE the body already was washed-cleaned, didn't He ? It is not just Biblical to wash daily, it is likely more healthy also, as long as poisons are not used. -

Children...Things We Throw Away? By Melody Green
simplejeff replied to turtletwo's topic in General Discussion
The Ekklesia have always followed Jesus, DOing what the Father in heaven SAYS, as in His Word. This never stopped. (except in what the world has viewed as if it was ekklesia, since the first few centuries when most departed from the faith, apostate and rebellious). The topic in the OP I think should not be able to be read and discussed amongst believers abiding in Jesus - and it just seems wrong to be where children can read it, weak in faith or not. We can care for others without bringing in unnecessary and seemingly inappropriate descriptions (I think there's several warnings against this in the OT and in the NT). -
Perhaps a billion hypocrites on earth , maybe 3 billion or more, "wore it as it is a statement!".... and they drag others down daily with themselves, as written in Scripture. Perhaps a few million are not hypocrites, whether they "wore it as it is a statement" or not ..... To be able to see the difference, requires testing, in truth, as written. As written, many many more "wore it as it is a statement" to trick others (at least into believing the wearer is somehow good or saved or part of a good group, so-called) , than honestly show what is truth abiding with them. i.e. according to all the Bible, and history, a lot more people seek to trick us, than to tell us (or anyone) the truth.
-
What is written in the Creator's Word about phylacteries ? Did anyone honest wear them also, not just hypocrites ? What is written in the Creator's Word about jewelry ? Why did the early "believers" eschew jewelry ? When does a "believer" become alive, a faithful member in the body of Christ ? (not all believers are Christian even, as written) Do they become a 'better' "believer" by wearing jewelry, considering ONLY what the Creator's Word Says about this ? Or do they become associated with , well, other goals , not so pure ?

Reading through all the Bible, the men of God, the prophets, the servants of God, the messengers of God, the people of God, were "in their faces" with a lot if not all of their conversations/ confrontations..... Realize that the next time we see someone, they might be being physically and wholly tossed into the lake of fire eternal judgment! Better to get in their face now, today, even if embarrassing , than in that judgment day to see them perish forever..... as it is written : "Open Rebuke is Better than Hidden (quiet) Love" .......

Yes. If you have to clean, clean. Simple. Even more, as the Bible says, clean as if cleaning directly for Jesus, as His servant. In fact, do all things as if for Jesus, as if (and it is) OBEYING THE FATHER CREATOR ALMIGHTY GOD IN HEAVEN. Motivation ? The penalty for sin is death. Eternal life in Christ Jesus is continual peace, joy and righteousness. (TODAY onward)

Perhaps like Corrie ten Boom in nazi germany - a spy, pretending to be true, took her money and then turned her in to the nazis, and her family and others with her. She still helped that person , that spy, but inside they were suffering unimaginable misery either in this life, or in the next.... There are more "spys" among people than there are good true Christians, by far. More actors on the stage of life, than self-sacrificing Ekklesia living CHRIST'S LIFE , for the Gospel's sake. Many fake, pretend "Christians" in churches and on forums , just so they can have friends , with no reality in their faith nor testimony. Test everyone, everything, every message -- well, not actually - there's not enough time... test only those messages/ persons that you want to continue believing - in that case , test UNTIL PROVEN TRUE. Otherwise it may well be like leaning on a broken cane that will pierce your own hand.

No, you didn't. Nothing to do with fairness either. Whatever you are trying to do with "Trump", here or in your book, appears fully wrong in origin, in motive, in context, and in your apparent (mostly unknown though) conclusions.
