That is a hard one. I don't know how they could support an unemployed person. I do know that I started to be left out of outings and other church activities where you had to pay your way because I could not. Anyway no one owes me anything. If you cannot pay your way then you cannot pay your way. What could they do, take up a collection and give it to me lol.

Muslim prayers are repetitive and they pray 5 times a day. How is this compatible with Christian prayers? I do not see how something like this could work unless they are liberal Christians and Muslims. I know that the Trinity is blasphemy to Islam and so these Muslims cannot be fundamental.

Yes this applies to prostitution as well. I have visited 3rd world countries and have seen the desperation born from poverty and lack of opportunity. I will not judge women in such circumstances who resort to prostitution or do porn. In many cases they are forced by their parents for money. They are sold by their parents and are sex slaves. In places like America some women may do it because they cannot get work. From what I understand, America is a harsh place if you have no income. Longterm unemployment could force women into prostitution and porn. So I am not going to judge anyone in those circumstances.

Yes Paul is referring to men who are not willing to work. I for one enjoy physical work and have worked hard most of my life. I love that feeling at the end of the day when I am exhausted and my muscles are tired. I thank God that I have a job. I was unemployed for two years, five years ago, after the business I worked for went bankrupt. My age and limited skills really went against me in trying to get another job. It really was a hard time for me and I experienced the stigma of what unemployment has as well as an uncertain future. This verse really cut me to the bone. I even stopped going to church because I felt like I could not be a worthy Christian without a job. I contemplated suicide, I struggled with my salvation and how could God love me. It was really a horrible time in my life. Thankfully I got a job again and have to get up and go to work in two hours. That time my life was a dark time. Rather then help people were judgemental and accusing. God did not seem to hear my prayer. My salvation was not certain. I had no control over my life and the future was bleak. It is something I will not understand until further along as the song says. All I can say is that being unemployed puts man in a very vulnerable and helpless position. If you cannot help that man get a job then at least don't kick him when he is down. Paul was talking about men who did not work because they thought it was pointless since Christ would return soon and so this does not apply to men who cannot work due to no fault of their own. It is very important that we discern between a lazy man and a man who has hit hard times and the last thing he needs is to be kicked while he is down.

I do believe that the heart of man is the emotional centre. Whether this is centred in the brain or stems from our spiritual man, I don't know. All I know is that in my debates with atheists concerning evidence for God, it is a heart matter not a head matter. Although atheists claim that their rejection for God is intellectual, based on evidence, they reject all evidence for design and evidence against evolution, because of the obvious ramifications.

I have drifted away from many of my Church friends from earlier years. One is now in Jail for serial molesting young teenagers in the church. Another one tried to get me involved in a Berean cult then left that to become a male stripper. Another one got a prostitute pregnant. Another one I had to go witness for his wife because I busted him beating her. I have been unlucky or was it Providence, but I usually give people the benefit of the doubt and only avoid certain people for good reason

Porn is so accessible now that every guy that is not living on the moon has or does look at porn. It does give a false view about sex and relationships on many levels because it is edited scripted and involves acting. This can put unrealistic pressures in real life. Sex may not be that good and certainly not that long. Porn is just an easy cash cow and people need to see it for what it is. It has no baring on real life and will ruin any relationship where sex is all that matters. I don't know about addiction to porn. I suppose that means you cannot get through the day without it but I use to like that with alcohol, which is more harmful to health and I use to smoke but not for many years. With any addiction you got to pray to God and keep praying until He gives you the strength and or grace to be free of it.

"Due to the hardening of their hearts." There is the rub. I think it is first and for most a heart problem. Maybe we could divide mankind into two groups, those who's hearts are hardened toward God and they whose hearts are soften towards God.

That verse comes to mind as well. So does that mean that our circumstances are limited by God for our ultimate good. There are millions born under unfavorable conditions and live and die in unfavorable conditions. Even in unfavorable conditions, no one can imply that all born in unfavorable conditions can rise ubove them. I am certain that God can bring the right people into anyone's life, that can help them or give them better opportunities. But if God does not then it must be His will to stay were and how we are. Maybe that answers my question? As for being able to do the impossible. Jesus can turn water into wine but if I want a bottle of wine, and no shops that sell wine are open, then I cannot buy wine at that time. So in that sense God is limited because I doubt whether He would turn water into wine for me. I know God can do miracles but in the natural realm He is limited to natural means.

There is no question as to whether we are limited by our circumstances. I know God can do anything miraculous and so intervene in a miraculous manner in any situation. There are so many examples of that in history i.e the Bible. Given though that they are exceptions to the rule, when we pray to God, make a request, is He limited by our circumstances and so cannot answer said request due to those limitations. This scenario would be based on our own choices, opportunities and the universal law of cause and effect. The other possibility is that through Providence our circumstances have been limited by God, therefore is the will of God for us. I know that some Calvinists believe that even what we have for breakfast this morning was preordained by God. I don't know about that, but I wonder if God puts limits on our life so as to orchestrate our circumstances. I have been concerned about this for quite a while and so my question is... Is God limited by our circumstances or are our circumstances limited by God? I need to know if my circumstances are the result of cause and effect or Gods Providence. Please give scriptural evidence for your answer if possible.

Bullets don't kill people it is the massive trauma to vital orgajs and blood loss that kills people. So it is our need for vital organs and blood that is the real problem.

Translators note on this passage in most Bibles says that this passage is not found in early manuscripts. So its authenticity is in question but it still has a powerful lesson for us. I think that Jesus could have written one of the passages below. It could have been Joshua 6:17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. The Hebrew Children were helped by a prostitute Or Judges 16:1 Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her. The Hero Samson slept with a prostitute. Or my favorite Genesis 38:16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? Judah slept with a prostitute but in an incredible act of hypocrisy, was going to put his daughter in law, to death for getting pregnant with his child. So I think that being confronted with one of these accounts from scripture, they had to walk away. Of course this is only a guess. If the account is true though, we are not told what Jesus had wrote on purpose. Maybe so we can hypothesise as I have?

There is always a way to outsmart the world as long as they do not outlaw Christianity completely.

If I were a baker then I would have a disclaimer in my shop for all to see... DUE TO THE GOVERNMENTS RESTRICTIONS ON MY RELIGIOUS FREEDOM I CAN NO LONGER SELL WEDDING CAKES TO ANYONE. Surely a bakery does not have to sell wedding cakes. They could just sell pies and cakes to the general public. No specialty cakes or custom cakes, just what is on the shelf.

I just do not see how they can force a pharmacy to stock a certain drug. A private owned business is free to sell whatever they want or not to within reason. Can they force a business to sell alcohol? It is a clear case of abusing power to persecute Christians, but I believe that they are also abusing the law itself. They cannot make you stock certain items if you are not a government owned or funded business. The supreme court is violating the constitution and abusing the law itself. If you own a private business the government cannot force you to sell anything you do not want to.

It is also used by husband's to get rid of unwanted wives, or by men who are rejected by women. So many times women have been savagely attacked by a frenzied mob just because a man said she has offended the prophet or mishandled the Qur'an.

A Muslim is predisposed to believe the Qur'an no matter what. They have no objectivity at all. Tell this Muslim that the whole Qur'an is a product of third hand witneses first of all. Allah gave the Qur'an to Mohammed, who spoke it to his followers, who wrote it down and then after Mohammed's death, the followers notes were collected and that is the Qur'an they have now. The Bible is a first hand witness, copies of the original author's. Also there are over 40 or so different authors of the Bible compared to the one composing the Qur'an. One witness cannot overule 40. So the Bible has more credibility then the Qur'an. Also the accounts in the Qur'an are from the Talmud and an Apocryphal Gospel rather then the actual scriptures, showing that Mohammed did not get his revelation from anyone but was a fraud. Also every prophet in the Old Testament prophesied of Christ whereas Mohammed has no support in the scriptures. Mohammed was a prophet because Mohammed said so. Jesus was the Messiah because the prophets of the Old Testiment said so.

I experienced something like this once. Were you ever involved in supernatural focused churches? I do not know your story but get your hands on a book called WAR ON THE SAINTS. It is the best book on spiritual warfare. It is by Jessie Penn Lewis. Does this happen only at home? It could be a demon possed house. I lived in one for several years. Recite the 23 Psalm whenever you are scared or feel you are being harassed by a demonic force. Tell it that it is not wanted here. Usually demon harassment and possession comes from being open to the supernatural. Through accult practices like meditation, chanting to invoke the supernatural. If a demon can pass itself of as God i.e make you think it is Gods spirit, then that person will invite the demon in. Demons cannot force there way in, so they have to pretend to be friendly so you will invite them in. If it is a haunted house though, it will harrass you. But as I said say the 23 Psalm out loud repeatly if you get frightened.

Just read some of the comments following that article. People hate Christianity because of its moral standard which is Gods moral standing. People hate Christianity so much that they love Islam because it is Antichrist. I have been thinking about how Churches can avoid Gay marriage. If they refuse to do marriages period then they cannot be forced to do gay marriages. Also if Christian owned bakeries they can refuse to do wedding cakes period. It is not discrimination if they don't make wedding cakes for everyone. Both could have a disclaimer... Because of the restrictions the government has put on Christians religious freedom, we can no longer perform marriages or bake wedding cakes. That is just an idea.

Nicely put together. Nice presentation. I got my cert IV in screen and media and had so much fun doing it. I have not heard anything positive about the Brexit myself but I am happy that the people got to vote. I do believe that the European Union is a precursor to a Global Union. What strikes me most about all this is how they say that it has been harmful economically. The economy seems to be the driving force these days and I cannot help but think of what it says in Revelation 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." It is certain that the Kingdom of the Antichrist is coming.

Absolutely! Evolution was just and idea. It was never a discovery. The atheistic secular world has made it thier origins story to maintain secularism and humanism. It all stems from the heart not the head. Evolutionary Biologists use this belief to get published and make a living. It is easy for them to make grand evolutionary claims on almost anything. It is a science based on presumption and supposition. And all claims go unchallenged because to do so is to question the very foundation for secularism and humanism.
