Hey Sister, Its the misery of trying to stop sinning.. Trying to be good enough for God to be pleased with us. Trying to get rid of a Stronghold. = Regret, condemnation, guilt, living in the past, never feeling that God loves you, never feeling that what you do matters.. or is worthwhile. If you are born again, Jesus has your sin. Its on the Cross. Jesus has your sin, and you have Jesus's righteousness. If this is not so, we are not truly born again. An Apostle will never tell a born again person or group that they are sinners. He would be lying, and denying the "finished work of Jesus on the Cross' But an Apostle will say you are a sinner if you are an unbeliever..... and He will tell you that there is no more sacrifice left for your sin, if you WILLFULLY reject the only Sacrifice that God has sent to the Cross that can save you. He will tell you that....and did in Hebrews, and in Acts 28., and any other place in the NT where an Apostle is dealing with unbelievers.

Its that same "religious spirit" which is a denial of the TRUTH = that the same Jesus who saved you, keeps you saved. Its an interesting situation, sadly so, that many Christians are trying to keep themselves saved, by doing works that you can do before you are saved, that could not save you to begin with, yet now teach that these same "filth rags" have to be done to keep the Blood Atonement active. Not only is this not Logical, its utterly Grace rejecting.

What Debp posted is a loving and deeply theological understanding of what happens when the Grace of God is rejected by "christians" after they are saved. She is earnestly helping Legalists or baby Christian understand that the very same Blood of Jesus that saves you, keeps you saved. See, when a Legalist does not believe that Jesus Saves, they end up trying to save themselves., and following that they teach this as their Gospel. This is the Gospel of "self saving"....and this denies the Cross by replacing it with "SELF". And that mindset produces a "religious spirit" that wants to attack Grace, because it reject the "gift of Salvation". Yes i hear you. But i'll again gently state that strongholds are easy for God to tear down. For us, they are impossible to remove. The NT speaks of a "besetting sin"... I wrote a song that is speaking to the person who is trying to fight off what can't be removed by self effort.... a few lines.. "oh Jesus. Here i am again To confess the same ole Sin The one i said i'd never do again, All i have to offer is a Broken heart for you to mend and tears, that won't stop falling".. What you just said is exactly what i teach... Its what i said. We can't resist to overcome. WE overcome by resting in Grace and in this God gives us the deliverance. Many believers are tied up in self effort that ties you up more. They are trying to do the "freeing", and only God sets you free. You can no more free yourself from a "stronghold" then you can use your own blood to save yourself. Its ALL of Christ.........the delivering, the saving......the Keeping you Saved.. Holiness does not come by working hard to be better....as legalists teach.. as Grace Rejectors teach......But rather Holiness only comes by resting in God, and allowing God to live through us....as only GOD is Holy, and we receive it. Its by letting God take control......."it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me"....Jesus said "apart from ME you can do NOTHING".... So, when we try to be good, we fall. But when we rest in God, then His power frees us from falling.

If the born again are in Spiritual Union with God and Christ, and you did not put yourself there, do you actually believe that you can get out of this Union? By Sin? When there is none being held against a believer because Christ bore it, became it, and died for it ALL? Or by losing Faith??, when in fact its not faith that saves you, its God who saves you THRU YOUR FAITH once = when you are born again that proves that your "faith is counted as righteousness". God's will shows you what to do. Fear shows you the cost....... or worse causes you to imagine all that could go wrong. When you face your fear, you'll still fear, but you won't let it control you, or own you. Here is one thing about fear. It can actually cause you to be your best in the situation. Learn to think of it not as fear, but as "excitement". Many Classical Music Artist have to go and perform 2-3 hrs , dead silent room, hot lights, people waiting for one tiny mistake. And the artist learned long ago to remake internally this fear as ...excitement. In the 40-s 50s, there was an actor and famous Jazz singer. Frank Sinatra. Once he was asked by a famous Magazine..>"do you still get afraid before you go out to sing in front of a live audience"? He said... "I sure hope so". as by having that "edge" that "excitement" he would be at his best....and without that, he would not be at his best. BeauJangles gave you a good answer. also, a voice, still small, medium large, or bright red orange, will only obey the Words in the New Testament. In other words, you know that the bible, the NT is a book of Love. Its a Testament to the Love of God. So, any voice or similar, a feeling, a instinct, will be related to LOVE and CARE and HELP, if its from God. A voice that says to burn your house, pull your eyes out, kill your neighbor......... see what i mean.... God is Love. And His requests are for Peace and Love.....and how we can do that or be that or cause that.. When that "voice' is telling you to make peace, forgive, Love, Give, HELP.... that's "bible", so that's a good "voice".

So, when you find confusion in culture, confusion in nature, confusion in yourself, you are not finding the Divine order or the Divine Light or harmony with GOD, which is why the confusion exists and rules. And because people are so in love with sinning, they want to get rid of God so that they can hopefully feel no sting of conscious. Yet, the conscious cannot lie and will always tell you the truth, (if its active) and that Truth is God's morality that is built into us all. Can you sin darken the conscience until you no more feel its cry and it resistance to immoral conduct?.....Yes you can.
