  1. Thats not only interesting, its awesome.
  2. Here is what Jesus says of the matter about Himself. Revelation 1:7-9 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Jesus Himself claims to be Jehovah, God almighty, The creator. He is the God of the past, the God of the present, and the God which is to come, The Almighty. He was, is, and will always be God Almighty. In Jesus kevin
  3. I am glad that you see Babylon as just that, the city of Babylon and not the United States which so many people seem to want to do and is the reason I thought I should respond. We need to get away from this train of thought in order to understand what the scriptures are saying
  4. I personally believe that Babylon is just that, the city of Babylon. It seems to say that in Revelation Revelation 18:9-11 9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: I agree that the U.S. is full of immorality and sin, as is the rest of the world, but I believe that Babylon is the city of Babylon.
  5. I too have trouble believeing in the pre-trib rapture, although I would be more than happy to say to those in the air I was wrong should it be true. Here is a verse in Revelation that I would like to have pre trib believers explain to me Revelation 20 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. This clearly says that these are christians for it says that they are beheaded because of thier witness to Jesus Christ and the word of God, which will consist of every race and nationality. We know that this happens during the tribulation and not before because the reason they were beheaded was that they would not worship the beast nor his image, and they refused to take the mark. These events take place during and not before the tribulation. Now the key to this is verse 5 ".......This is the first resurrection." this doesnt say that it is part b of the first resurrection, it says that this is the first resurrection and consist of those who hold the testimomy of Jesus which are Christians and will include Israel. In 1 Thess 4 it says 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. This speaks of the rapture "shall be caught up" along with the first resurrection "and the dead in Christ shall rise first". Now if the first resurrection according to Revelation happens after the beast has already appeared Rev 20:4 ".......and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads" then it really doesn't line up at all with pre-tribulation rapture, but instead happens sometime after midway through and post which I from my understanding of the scriptures see it happening more towards the end or post trib. I believe this to be so because of the fact that anti-christ will not be revealed until approximately mid trib and he is the on who gives power to the beast, and again the beast puts to death to death by beheading those who hold fast the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. Like I said I would be more than happy to say to my pre-trib believing brothers and sisters when we meet in the air on our way to glory I was wrong, but I just dont see that as so. again because of the following truth in scripture: Revelation 20 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. God bless you in your pusuit of Him. In Jesus kevin
  6. One thing that one must understand is that Jesus is God, and that it is He, Whom has set the time of His ministry of salvation, which by the way is still going on and has not ceased. The gospel is still being spread and many more have been brought to Him since His death and resurrection, than when He was in His earthly ministry. His main purpose for coming in the flesh to the earth, (which He, Himself had created) was to offer up Himself as the perfect sacrifice, holy and acceptable, to totally wipe out and forgive the sins of those who trust in and believe in Him. Actually it has to do with both, but it has Israel in mind in regards to her redemption in the not to distant future.
  7. Wow! Maybe I need to take just to translate what " exponentially" means
  8. Great post Hupo! I believe that the scripture teaches there will be a lot more of the Islamic people who will turn to Jesus as we approach the end of time as we know it. And God will open the eyes of His people Israel as the scripture says. You should try looking up George who also lives in Israel. God bless and keep the faith. In Jesus kevin
  9. I personally think that this was China telling them to step down, because the USA is thier biggest buyers of thier products and not so much diplomacy on Bush's part. Lets face it, Bush just isnt that good at negotiating treaties. His answers to this is send in the troops and not so much negotiation. I wonder sometimes if I made a mistake by voting for him.
  10. Yeah baby! Hank still lives, keep us informed Ron.
  11. You know, with a name like that, you could be president someday. R Nixon
  12. Its been like that all week in Chicago, but we are expecting a heat wave today, I believe it is supposed to hit 18 above. Spring is right around the corner
  13. Hey now, just because I can eat a hot fudge sundae with a shovel... ...AND carry on a full conversation while you do it. Its called "multi-tasking." Doh!
  14. First of all it was Nero and not Cyrus. Your post and understanding of these events are very 7th Day stuff First of all it was Titus not nero. i admit i get Titus and Cyrus confused with each other. \http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destruction_of_JerusalemThe Siege of Jerusalem in the year 70 was a decisive event in the First Jewish-Roman War, followed by the fall of Masada in 73. The Roman army, led by later Emperor Titus, with Tiberius Julius Alexander as his second-in-command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem, which had been occupied by Jewish rebels in 66. #Destruction_of_Jerusalem OOOOOOOOOOOOps! My mistake, Nero was the one who led the persecutions but he did die before It was Titus destroyed the temple. Anyway it wasnt Cyrus on which we agree.

I personally like the Winamp Juke box for a player and I use the Windows player for burning, it seems to burn a better quality. I also have installed Jet Audio and AV Rack and Real Player but mostly use the two. I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but it is worth the trouble. God bless and enjoy kevin
  16. First of all it was Nero and not Cyrus. Your post and understanding of these events are very 7th Day stuff Concerning the antichrist, I believe that the scriptures clearly do point out that it is an individual, although it also points out that there are many even now, John specifically points to one 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. He uses antchrist that shall come in a singular form and then refers to the fact that there are many already and this is how we know we are in the end times. The death and resurrection of Christ was the beginning of the end. The book of Daniel points to an individual as well. I would also like to point out a few scriptures that you have used to try to back your position. [b]Matthew 24:21 For there shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. This great tribulation that Jesus speaks of is still yet to come and in fact is knocking on the door. Jesus says that there has not been such great tribulation since the beginning nor shall their be after. In 70 Ad they didn't have anything near the weaponry capable of causing the destruction we can today. I also notice that many of the 7th day teachings try and fit parts of Revelation into thier mix concerning the destruction of the temple. Most scholars agree that the book of Revelation was written around 95 AD.
  17. Actually I dont know why so many people refer to it as 'Mystery Baylon" it is never in the scriptures refered to as "Mystery Baylon". Lets look at the scripture: Revelation 17:4-6 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.[a] 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. If you look at the text, what was written on her head was 1) Mystery and then a comma ,,,, 2) Babylon the great and then a comma 3) THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Mystery and Babylon the great are two seperate titles or names that were written on her forhead. What was written is Mystery, Babylon the great, This is very important, for many seem to think that it is Mystery Babylon, and this leads to speculation on who Babylon is, when in fact Babylon the great is just that, Babylon. I dont mean to sound harsh, but many people keep reading something that just aint there, and this leads to such speculation that America is Babylon, or Korea, or France, or whatever because they look at the immorality of that particular country, when the fact is all the world is very immoral and full of sin and will be judged by God. America aint right but it is not Babylon Its not Babylon thats the mystery, but it is the mystery that is the mystery.
  18. There are many people today who believe that America is Babylon and I for one do not agree. In my personal opinion and understanding of the scriptures Babylon is just that, Babylon. Anyway, here is a pretty good site that is a good read. I personally agree with himon a lot of issues that I have read on his site thus far, I havent read all his stuff yet but what I have read is pretty solid. Judge for yourselves. Here is the link for Why America is not Babylon. Link Here I would be interested in your feed back.
  19. Glad t hear all the responses. This man is truley used of God to minister to so many people through his music. Just click on the song and it will ask if you want to save or open it. I usually save it to "My Music" which is in "My Documents" and then I add to my music jukebox (I have several) or you can open it and when your music jukebox, some will automatically. Leyt me know if you need any help. He also more music than just this page, click on home page and go to MP3 page, there is a lot of music available for download. Then you will love the fact that the complete "Live Album" is available. This is an awesome album, it was one of the first I heard by him and have loved his music ever since. Awesome song and also on the live album. Glad to see there are other Don Francisco fans out there. He is still very active, but he dont deal with the record companies anymore for the sake of artistic freedom I suppose, but he still puts out new albums that can only be acquired on his site. God bless kevin
  20. I posted this pretty late last night and just wanted to "bump" it up again so more could view it. This music is a blessing and very much inspired.
  21. Hi All, Anybody remember Don Francisco? He has a website that he is offering free music MP3 downloads. He is known for his song "He's Alive" and "Too Small A Price" among others. Of course I am sure he wouldn't mind any contributions to his ministry if the Lord puts it in your heart to do so. Don is a great man of God and God has used his music to touch many hearts including mine. I would highly recommend "Too small a price" from his live concert album. It is a song about the crucifixion from the perspective of the thief that died beside Jesus on the cross. It will send chills through your body. What an excellent song, you will be blessed. Here is the page for the live album download. The whole album is just fantastic, but if you don't feel like downloading the whole album then I would at least highly recommend "He's Alive" and "Too small a price". I first heard these songs over 25 years ago and they are still as fresh today as they were then. He also has some CD's that you can purchase for a very fair price. I hope you take the time to check it out, you will be blessed by his music. Praise the Lord and God bless. In Jesus kevin
